Traditional feeling with modern touch…read more It was a cold day when visiting Gustavsberg this winter, thus a good cup of hot chocolate was almost an essential. We stepped in Cafe Tornhuset and faced a warm atmostphere. The vitrin was full of sweet pastries, buns, cakes and cookies, but also sandwiches, and the list told that they offer soups and salads as well. The place was almost full of people, but we managed to find a cozy place in the very end corner. Service was friendly, interior ok and prices good. Not super special cafeteria, but nothing to really criticize. The location is nice, in the "tourist" area of Gustavsberg, thus at the harbor. I would love to see the place in summer time as well, could be nice to sit outside at the terrace by the water. Yeah and the hot chocolate (30kr), it was delicious! Served in a huge cup, it warmed well. Would recommend!
