No call thursday. Friday we were told: They called us and delivery would be two weeks out. They didn't Told they didn't have our number or email even though they texted and emailed. Talked to six customer service experts and were told it was their system then their policy and could only call if delivery was on schedule. Told me to call the 1 800 number. We did in front of the army of experts. 1800 girl asked me if i had called local store. I was standing there. 1800 girl asked if i had visited the store. Talked to five people at corporate all of which were sure i had done something wrong. I hadn't Asked 1800 girl to do what they committed to by calling nearby stores. 1800 girl told me that was my job. They offered to cancel my order at any time but i would have to call corporate for a refund. Was called "rude" because I didn't understand their policies. It would be 4 to 7 days before i could get a refund and my account would be credited. Real customer service girl took my phone and talked to 1800 girl. Heard her say rude. 1800 girl hangs up. Store "acting" manager said there was nothing he could do. Went A1 appliance in Columbus and bought an American made washer and dryer. As i type this 2 hours later they are installing the unit. I showed up yesterday to pick up my glasses that were ordered two weeks prior. The office is open…read morefrom 8:00-5:00, but I am at work from 8:00 until 4:30. Since I only get a thirty-minute lunch and work on the other side of Tupelo, I rushed to pick them up when I got off of work. I arrived in the parking lot at 4:57 and walked up to a locked door. When the receptionist saw me pull on the door, she made eye contact. I told her I needed to pick up my glasses (through the door because they never moved) ... she proceeded to shake her head no at me. The lady from the glasses side saw me outside and came to the door and asked if she could help me. At this time, it is STILL only 4:59, which I explained and apologized for being late, but that it was my only opportunity to pick them up. She was very understanding, and the only positive to this place. I will be changing my eye doctor after this experience. I understand that everyone wants to go home, but if you are on the clock, you need to unlock the door and assist customers.
