For starters, Dr Billinghurst has a very good bedside manner. He tells you what needs to be done in a way that even if you are not well versed in the medical field you can understand it and not feel as if he is talking down to you. When I have needed injections he told me where the pain would be and how much pain. He also mentions if you will feel pressure as opposed to pain. When it turned out I needed surgery, he told me what to expect. He also mentioned that if I chose to have a 2nd opinion, the answers I could expect to get from other doctors. After my surgery, he monitored me and had me come in on a timely basis to check on my progress. After recovering from my surgery, I will say that I can do a whole lot more and in a lot less pain. On this note when he does give you an injection, it is not as painful as when other doctors do it. I thought before he gave me the epidurals they would be quite painful. Thankfully they were not and I have had other doctors give me an epidural. They were more painful. He also is more thorough. One other thing I need to add here; a while back I had a follow-up appointment for 1:30. Sonia his assistant called me around 12 that day to say that he was running behind. If we moved the appointment to 2, he would be able to see me without a delay. Like I said, I would rate him more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend Dr Billinghurst for your back issues. You will be glad you saw him for it.

Everyone I came in contact with were friendly and knowledgeable. DrNoble was fabulous!!! I have an orthopedist in Stuart but a fri recommended Dr Noble. She had knee surgery and was very impressed it went so smooth. I thought I needed knee surgery I don't. It's shocking I was told I had bone on bone but X-rays taken there show differently. He spent time explaining everything. Gave me referral for pt and a prescription for pain and inflammation if needed. I will be getting my shots from him even though it's a bit of a drive he's so worth it. I have complete confidence in him!

Then after they obtained our credit card number on file, they continued to bill additional charges as they saw fit without our approval. I plan to to shut down this credit card acount to prevent further abuse of our card. After I spoke with the local office, they have now abandoned my wife from any further care for a severe injury to her foot and ankle. This needs to be reviewed by an attorney. Also just spoke with Natasha, clinical director who was rude, inflammatory and they have now formally abandoned any further care for my wife. I would recommend you search elsewhere for more competent doctors and staff.

From the first visit, he approached my case with a high level of thoroughness and attention. He personally reviewed my MRIs and X rays in detail with me, pointed out specific areas of joint damage, explained why my symptoms aligned with the imaging findings, and walked me through the reasoning behind each treatment option. He welcomed questions, never minimized my pain, and communicated in a way that was both medically precise and easy to understand. I left feeling informed, respected, and like an active part of the decision making process. I am in my late twenties, which made my case more complex. For seven years, surgeons across the country were hesitant to perform a shoulder replacement because of my age. During that time, my shoulder became severely arthritic, and my functional ability was extremely limited, significantly affecting my daily life and independence. Dr. Colasanti carefully weighed the long term risks and benefits of replacement in a younger patient and made his decision based on the true severity of my joint damage and loss of function, not just my age. He also consulted with Dr. Simovitch prior to surgery, and together they agreed replacement was appropriate given how advanced my condition was. That level of thoughtfulness and collaboration meant a great deal to me. In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Colasanti's approach to patient care is exceptional. He personally called me the day before surgery to ensure my questions were answered. Throughout the process, he was attentive, respectful, and genuinely engaged in what I was experiencing. It is clear he considers the person behind the condition, not just the diagnosis. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Colasanti and also to Dr. Simovitch, whose two prior surgeries helped restore function and made it possible for me to ultimately move forward with shoulder replacement. I highly recommend HSS and these surgeons for orthopedic care. Because of them, I have been given a second chance at quality of life.

In this type of surgery, pain results from the surgical procedure itself, since there is nothing other than debridement, so pain is inversely proportional to skill. I was walking without assistance (cane or crutches) that evening, and other than 2 doses of ibruprofen, I took nothing for pain. Even though I went back to work in 2 days, almost no one noticed anything abnormal. I was walking with a nearly normal gait by 4 days. So I would have to conclude that he did a pretty outstanding job. In addition, he has a great personality, and on top of that, his office staff are terrific. 100% recommendation from me!
