Cards and balloons etc. Lots of funny and tacky present stuff. Also good for stocking fillers.

Karen is absolutely amazing!! I got married at Castle Leslie in August and had never seen the venue…read morebefore. She was able to take our budget and turn it into something amazing. She was extremely creative and worked off of very little guidance from me. My bridal bouquet was incredible (people are still talking about it). She made the groom and groomsmen floral pocket squares that they absolutely loved. She was very innovative in how to use the florals from the ceremony for the reception as well. I could not recommend House of Elliott Flowers more!

Incredibly creative and stylish. Don't go past these guys if you want your wedding or event to look…read moreabsolutely beautiful, they did a fantastic job with ours. Firstly we had a private meeting with the main florist Karen, who talked us through options and showed us different styles of flowers, bouquets, arrangements and colour palates. She took lots of time and helped us make the right choices according to our budget and needs. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff in general were all very obliging and helpful any time we called in to make a payment or emailed to ask a question. They liaised with the Church independently and took all the work and responsibility out of our hands. The peony arrangements in the church were commented on by everyone and I absolutely loved my bouquet - I didn't put it down all day. Stylish, modern and sophisticated in a nutshell. Not cheap though!

Buzzzz. I'm like a…read morefuzzy little bee to a yummy scrummy honey pot when it comes to gift shops. As soon as I spot one, I'll fly, er, I mean walk in and embrace the lovely gifts and cards. Aaaahhh... On a miserable wet day in Lisburn, as my brother, sister and I dander around Lisburn Square, I just so happen to note the word 'gift' on the Aroma sign. "I'm heading in!" I holler, dashing in. Having thrust each other that knowing look, they follow suit. Aroma is your average gift emporium, only cheaper. It's filled with inexpensive cards and lots of lovely gifts...and a whole wall of Yankee Candles. Me likey. There's a bit of a tradition in our family concerning these gorgeous scented candles. If any of us are near a Yankee Candle selling shop, we pick up a couple and purchase them, just in case (there are currently nine melts in our cupboard...let's be realistic, when does 'just in case' ever happen?) My dad usually buys some of the more dodgy smelling melts for my mum, so I've taken it upon myself to buy the melts, seeing as I'm the one with the better scents, I mean sense of smell. Subjectively speaking of course... Choosing two of the nicer smelling options, I noted the fab price of 99p for each of them (score!) and went happily on my way, siblings in tow. When I got home, my mum was super impressed with my smelling skills. Sorry dad, looks like you've been relegated to the not so scentsational smelling category. Be scentsible and head on round to Aroma for a (cheap) candle or two. Ps. Apologies for the awful jokes. I just couldn't help myself...
