    My Naomi

I've had my white parakeet for 10 years and every time I go out of town or have an event ,wedding, that gonna keep me busy they care for my Naomi. They even remember her daily slice of egg from visit to visit......it's a very nice little corner of the world

I adopted my sweet baby boy Cockatiel "Dexter" from Birdsmart this last January 2021. He is the most amazing little guy! They made it a very smooth and easy process for me to buy him. I was able to pick him out when he was a wee little baby and then waited a couple months or so for him to fully wean from being hand fed. I would call every week or two and they would give me updates on him. I was so excited to bring him home! Dexter has been sweet from day one and I can tell that they handled him quite a bit because he was very tame and sweet from the start. He is only @ 5 months old now but he's SO smart. He says "Peek-a-Boo", does the wolf whistle and is starting to sing songs. He LOVES head scratches and gets along amazingly with our other Cockatiel "Charlie" that is a female. He is already trying to woo her daily :) Birdsmart answered all of my questions when I was getting Dexter and they are always super quick to respond to my messages or calls. They also did an awesome job trimming both of my babies nails & wings when they were doing grooming in the shop. They also were able to do a DNA test on both of my Cockatiels which determined that Charlie was indeed a girl and Dexter indeed a boy. It was a super easy and quick process and was so fun finding out the results. I am VERY happy with my choice to get Dexter from them and I am super thankful for everything they did for my little guy before I brought him home! I'm sure I'll be back there again in the future! I highly recommend Bird Smart to anyone looking for a super sweet, happy and healthy bird. They are awesome! :)

Best bird store in town. The birds are out every day on stands. They have boarding for cheap if you go on vacation. Do grooming by hand (clips and files.) They have all the food imaginable for your birds and cages alike. Tons of toys and birds to choose from. They offer a layaway option to help you afford your new family friend

The owner barely trimmed my African grays beak down and he was so rude. I'll never go there again.

    Do you have zebra finches?

Yes, they have a bunch of zebra finches right now. When i went there last week, they were $29.99 but they are only sold in pairs.

How much would it be to buy a baby parrot any kind?

The question is a bit too genral. Cost is going to vary greatly depending on the breed of parrot. Some are much more rare and /or harder to get and henceforth have higher costs. "Parrot also is a type v.s a breed. It could range from 4 to 600 for…

Chose all day play for both. Arrived and in going over booking was told that only 1 dog had all day play. No. Had that changed (I thought). Started using wag cam next morning. Both dogs looked miserable in all day play. Laying down away from other dogs. That was expected. They really aren't interested in playing with other dogs. Would have been nice if caretaker had taken notice. Next day I check all day play and only see 1 dog. Check "suite" cam and there is the other dog. Call Wag. Oh, you only booked all day play for 1 dog. No. I corrected that on check in. Half hour later check wag cam and both dogs are in all day play. Throughout the stay staff kept referring to each dog as "HE". They are not male. They are female as was clearly noted on their paperwork. Is that why no one cared that other dogs were trying to mount my dogs (per web cam). I think they could have and should have done better. This was not the exceptional care I was expecting. Oh, and thanks for the kennel cough

007 / 100 - 2016 YELP 100 CHALLENGE…read more I LOVE JJ'S!!! When my fiance and I went on a 10 day trip to Japan, we struggled to find a great place that would keep our (then) 6 month old miniature dachshund. Mocha is a very small dog and is very, very clever. She's Houdini-ed herself past her crate and her gate several times... it's gotten to the point where we have to double gate her, just to make sure that she doesn't get out. Because of her ability to wizard her way out of anything, we were really nervous about finding someone to watch her. We originally found JJ on Rover.com and we are so, so glad we did. Her yard is a dream come true for dachshund owners. Everything is fake grass/AstroTurf so there's no real way for your dog to dig its way past the fence. There are also no gaps under the fence. Everything is leveled and flat. She also has 1-2 giant metal gates with doors that you have to open in order to get to other parts of her yard (the front and back connect). All in all, really secure. We set up an appointment to have Mocha at JJ's for a day before we left for our trip (mostly to make sure she got along well with the other dogs) and Mocha had a blast!!! JJ handles both big and small dogs and she is ALWAYS watching them to make sure that no fights break out. We've taken Mocha to other doggy day cares before and she has always been isolated/alone, so seeing her and hearing her play with other dogs was wonderful. We gave JJ special instructions to abide by (Mocha has a sensitive stomach :( ) and what medications she would need to take while we were gone (flea & heartworm medication). JJ was able to do all of that without a hitch, in addition to sending us e-mail updates every other day. It was really sweet of her to do that and keep us in the loop. When we came to pick Mocha up after we returned, she was happy to see us, but also didn't want to leave! She had made so many friends at JJ's and had the time of her life. We now take her at least 2x a week for her to see her doggy friends and spend some quality time with JJ. JJ has always been quick to respond to any calls or e-mails we've made. She knows her stuff (has been doing this for years) and is very accommodating at a really reasonable price. can't recommend Wag Time at JJ's enough!

JJ's prices are beyond compare--she is a private dog sitter and we pay FAR LESS than we would at a loud, scary, dirty kennel. We were lucky enough to find her while out walking the dogs in the neighborhood one day and we have never boarded our dogs anywhere else since! JJ is a certified dog trainer--she LOVES DOGS. She cooks them scrambled eggs for breakfast when they stay and we have a sneaking suspicion that she even lets them sleep with her in bed! It's hard leaving you dogs, but when they are pulling at the leash and whining to get to her front door as fast as they can when you arrive you know you've left them with somebody who is really great

The pack experience is ideal for a one dog family looking for supervised socialization. And she comes home exhausted
