I purchased Nectar mattresses from the Gonzales location and was told a receipt would be Emailed to me. The sales guy typed my email address incorrectly and I did not receive it. However, I went back to the store because after sleeping on the Nectar Premier mattress for 6 nights, I felt like I was involved in a car accident. I asked for an exchanged and was told there is a minimum requirement of 30 days on exchanges. I get that but I wanted to purchase another mattress and just keep the others on hand until it was time for a pick up and was told I could not buy or have mattresses delivered until another 30 days. I have never heard of such. So, I had to purchase a mattress elsewhere so I can rest comfortably....BUYER BEWARE AND RUN FROM THIS LOCATION!!! The shops include a wide variety of souvenirs, crafts, kitchen goods, t-shirts, and anything else that one might want. I am a Louisiana resident and enjoy shopping at the shops here. One of my favorites is the candy store located in the rear of a shop. Lots of old fashioned selections there! Prices tend to be fair, given that they cater to tourists. The shopkeepers are all helpful and nice. Other than the shops, there are historic artifacts and buildings to look at. These seem to have been moved in from various locations, and are always interesting.

I was greeted very politely by a sweet young girl when I entered the store. However, another more mature lady came by me while I was shopping and just seemed like she was eyeing me up and down and suggesting I didn't belong there. (I was in my work clothes.) She also checked me out when I was done shopping and gave me that same impression. If I hadn't been here before, I would've just walked out.
