It claims to be "a superior 3D experience" but as a party of four that are all accustomed to the more common glasses / 3D projections, we all left with sore eyes. Not good.

Many other couples were also given complimentary tickets for the same reason. Whilst that was a nice gesture at the time 6 months later we return to use our complimentary tickets only to be told by the manager Caitlin that they were no longer valid. Never mind that Hoyts didn't have anything showing we wanted to watch until now. We feel it was a very mean act to not let us use the tickets. At the time of receiving the tickets we were not told of an expiry date. We purchased the original movie seats on a gift voucher that didn't expire until 2025. We will not return to Hoyts again. Very poor customer service.

I like this cinema much more than the other one I have visited so far on the Coast. They have a…read moremuch larger snack area to select from heaps of candy options, more slurp options etc, etc. Not to mention they have a nice bar area, so if you're early for your movie you could casually grab a drink and wait - totally bonus. It was larger, and it definitely smelled better than the other cinema I've been to - but I'm not gonna lie the theatre itself still kind of smelled to me. I was really surprised that our movie wasn't very full since it was still a newer movie and it was a Saturday night - but that's definitely a positive. Don't really wanna be in a packed movie theatre.
