As Linley S mentioned in her review - the machines are constantly maintained and whether you like cardio or want to lift weights - you will be hard pressed to have to wait very long for anything. Have to go someplace afterwards - clean and spacious changing rooms are available for members. Healthtrax offers a myriad of options - from fitness classes to personal/group training sessions - to get your sweat on. Additionally (and a rarity I might add) this gym has a racquetball court and an all weather pool. Strangely it was the racquetball court that drew me in and since joining I have spent many evenings attempting to beat Mark C. Have kids and can't find a sitter - no problem. Childcare and children's activities are available so the whole family can go. Monthly membership prices are a bit higher than those $10/month gyms in the area but the quality is definitely better. Nobody likes to workout ALL the time - but it's nice that there is a place that makes it a bit easier when you walk through the doors.

Masks, sanitizer stations, social distancing- it all feels very safe, but so different. I have a Black Card. The massage chairs and the hydromassage are great. Red Light Therapy- I tried it a few times last year. All really nice perks to the membership. The staff is great. It's really nice to walk into a place and get greeted by your first name. Also even better to know their names as well. It's like a Cheers, but it's a gym. Equipment-wise, they've got everything that I need for a good work out. The pull up area close to the back was always my favorite for circuit workouts. That was a great area to stretch in the beginning as well. I'd say a few more Smith Machines would have been great pre-Covid. Now, there's not really a wait for them anymore. There's a Stop and Shop right in the same plaza, so it's always great to work out and then load up on some healthy eats after the gym. On the downside of that, there is also a Joey Garlic's in the same lot as well. (For those that don't know Joey's is known for their brick-oven thin-crust pizzas & large portions of Italian dishes.) After just a few weeks I felt more energetic and started to feel myself trust my body more. My teenage daughter comes with me as her schedule allows and although we are there together and even do some of the same things our workouts are customized to us. Rob is very good at what he does. I have worked with trainers before and Rob cares about your workout but also how you will feel the next day. He spends time to learn your goals and works you towards them and is very encouraging. Today I had less than my best workout and he pointed out my overall growth, how well I did my first set of exercises and gave me more time to stretch along with tips to help muscles soreness. I feel like I finally found a place that is a long term solution and not a huge impersonal gym that has trainer turnover.
