She's upbeat, welcoming, and somehow also a walking movie and TV show trivia master -- she's seen it all, and she creates a relaxed, positive atmosphere the moment you walk in. Minerva is sweet, down to earth, and a lot of fun, and if you're someone who's nervous about donating because of needles, she's exactly who you want. She's so good at what she does that you honestly don't even feel it. She has a calm, reassuring way about her that puts people at ease instantly. The facility is clean, the process is smooth and professional, and most importantly, the blood donated here stays right here in the Coastal Bend, helping local patients, families, and hospitals when they need it most. I have been here numerous times and had a few instances of not feeling so well, and they have always been attentive. If you donate platelets, they have a movie library for you to pick a movie from (I hear regulars will bring their own Redbox).
