The students have a wide variety of skills. Some are quite talented and have been trained as physical therapist or other bodywork professions. I find it very helpful to have a weekly massage to keep stress and pressure at a minimum.

I work hard and I treat myself but I also need to take care of my body. I've been seeing Andy for about 10 years now. I saw her first in the Bay Area for severe carpal tunnel-esque complications from typing in my lower right hand/arm. After one session, it was gone and I've never returned to a wrist brace. I also suffer from teeth grinding/TMJ and she gave me special attention there which I had never experienced. Then a few years later I got hit by a car. She worked with me for two years after, realigned my body (mostly hips), and helped restore feeling in my lower back side after severe muscle, tissue, and nerve damage. I saw her for general massage after until she moved to Portland, Oregon. Luckily, I go to PDX often and have seen her there where she's still the best. She really has an unparalleled knowledge of anatomy and healing modalities/techniques. I have gone to fancy spas in St. Helena, Calistoga, San Francisco, Asheville, NYC, New Mexico, etc etc. She is THE ONE. A true healer. She listens to what you say, focuses on those areas, doesn't do filler nonsense- she works on you THE WHOLE time and is fully present, not just going through the motions. To this day, I feel cheated every time I get massaged by anyone else. Also, she is super safe and warm. My body relaxes around her and lets her in to do the healing. Magick heart and hands!

It was very much like having a warm, healing presence swim through your body. It's a completely legitimate thing that women do all the time. What, does Jennifer Parks want women to bring their birth certificates and their wedding certificates and other documentation to prove who they are before she will accept a yelp review of her business as valid, like Republicans want women to do before they can vote? After all, one of your practitioners goes by both Lily and Susan. Does that mean she's not an actual staff member of Jade Star Acupuncture? Why and how would I make up the sorts of details provided in my 2024 review? Was it or was it not standard practice in the first half of 2024 for your practitioners to step out of the room at the beginning of session, to give the patient a few moments of privacy to disrobe as necessary and get settled on the table? Have you asked all the practitioners who worked for you in the first half of 2024 if they ever demanded that a client put her hair in a ponytail before she would provide a treatment? Think about what this says about Jade Star Acupuncture, about their recording keeping, about their attention to client feedback, and about their ethics.
