My experience with this powder coating service was nothing short of a disappointment. I brought my raw, rusted metallic front bumper to be powder coated in a Ultra Black Crome finish, and despite agreeing on a market price, I received no special deal. The promises of a perfect outcome turned into a series of frustrating events. Firstly, the job took an unreasonably long time, and the communication was abysmal. Every time I tried to inquire about the progress, they seemed clueless about my order, forcing me to visit their location in person to get any attention. This lack of organization and accountability was highly unprofessional. When I finally picked up the bumper, I was dismayed to find fish-eye imperfections all over the surface. To make matters worse, the paint would change color when wet, revealing poor adhesion. It was evident that the metal was not adequately prepped, and the absence of a primer was to blame, as they claimed the powder wouldn't need it. Upon reporting the issues, the manager was initially understanding and offered to fix it. Unfortunately, their attempt at repair was subpar, leading to cracked and rusted areas. Again, the same pattern of miscommunication and forgetfulness ensued, making it a frustrating cycle of broken promises. In an effort to rectify the situation, I left over 12 additional pieces to be painted along with the bumper. However, three months passed, and there was still no progress. When I reached out, the lack of recognition of my order left me exasperated. Dealing with the owner, who was initially courteous, turned out to be a nightmare as he blamed my choice of paint instead of acknowledging their own mistakes. The level of customer service declined drastically as the situation worsened. Rude behavior from the staff and owner was uncalled for, especially when they were the ones at fault. When my pieces were eventually found, they were carelessly tossed around the warehouse, covered in dirt, which only added to the frustration. Ultimately, the owner's suggestion to take everything back and wash their hands of the situation was the final straw. This business exhibited terrible communication, logistics, and professionalism. The blame-shifting and refusal to accept responsibility were appalling. In addition to the issues with my personal bumper, I decided to inquire about getting a quote for the paint of 10 bumpers in black, intending to resell them. However, my attempt to do business with them turned out to be equally disappointing. When I requested the quote, they seemed disinterested and unresponsive. Instead of providing a professional response, they nonchalantly mentioned that they worked with a local brand, Mile Marker Winches, insinuating that they had no issues with them. The owner's response was particularly distasteful, as they indirectly blamed me for using the paint they recommended in the first place. It was clear that they were unwilling to take responsibility for their poor advice and the subsequent problems that arose. This additional incident only added to the already negative experience, further solidifying my decision to never engage in business with them again. The lack of consideration, professionalism, and accountability demonstrated by this company is simply unacceptable. I highly advise against any dealings with them, be it for personal projects or resale purposes. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using this powder coating service. Despite a manager who seemed friendly and understanding, they failed to deliver on their promises. The lack of quality work, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior make this establishment one to avoid. BEWARE!!! Senior Abuse! Do Not Use This Company!!! This senior citizen has been put through so much stress and anxiety trying to have a wrought iron rocking chair refinished! This Bio Coating Company has stood me up not one, not two, not three, not four but FIVE times. I am so mad at myself for falling for this deceit and disrespect from this sham of a company as I always seek to find the good in people. The desk man "Patrick" promised every time, everyday he would be there in the afternoon to pick up my rocking chair. After the first two no-shows, I went in the office. Patrick promised and said "things fell behind, we are swamped and that he would be there in the afternoon at 5:30pm." Again no-show Patrick. I went into the office the next morning and Patrick claimed the he was there but didn't have my apt. number, gee didn't he have my cell number? He said again "he would be there and not charge me for the chair. 4:30pm came, he called me and said he was running late, but be there shortly, again never showed up! Totally stressed and disgusted, I again went to the office the next morning. Patrick claimed he was to my apt. but I didn't answer my cell phone or text he sent. I NEVER GOT EITHER ONE! Why didn't he just come to the door, he knew the apt. number by now. At that point I asked to speak to the owner. I was told he was not in. I said"isn't that his big black truck outside?" Oh , well, he is busy with the accountant.. I said,"I thought you just now said he wasn't in." I said "no problem, I'll just sit and wait for him." A nearby worker said "sir you'll have to leave the building or we will call the police!" I said "go ahead call the police!" Imagine, calling the police on a 71 yr old handicapped senior!!! I got up and said to Patrick "is this how you treat your customers?" Patrick said"okay, I will be there at 5:00pm for your chair." You got it... never showed up, called or texted! Patrick is a liar and a poor representative of this company. The owner should reprimand and fire him! Both Patrick and the owner owe me an apology. In a nutshell: BEWARE: Do Not Use This Company! These are the worst people I have ever encountered. They failed to meet deadlines and even worse, they could not perform the services that they had committed (and charged). It took them 70 days to tell me (I had to call several times)that they could not perform the galvanization of a few bolts & nuts and they did not even reimburse the amounts I had paid!! The absolute worst of Miami/Broward here. I can't believe they are still in business. read more
