Also good luck trying to get them to answer the phone to schedule an appointment. Expect to wait 45 minutes or more after you check in for your scheduled appointment. Dr Minor would not prescribe anything for pain instead I got a steroid hip injection that did not help! had to see Lonestar ortho for my back pain to get pain meds. The worst thing I experienced was them filing my insurance incorrectly. I had to call Medicare and BCBS and coordinate benefits myself then after BCBS paid the bill TOA were claiming I still owe them $1035 and would not schedule my surgery! I offered to do a 3 way call with their billing office to verify it's been paid and that they need to contact the local BCBS office. TOA didn't have it posted and until it is TOA will not do my extremely painful hip replacement surgery. It's been 2 weeks that the bill has been paid and not one phone call from them! I decided to go to Lonestar Ortho in Burleson and they scheduled my surgery a week later. Lonestar was going to schedule it July 17th but I stressed to them my pain level and issues with TOA so they scheduled me July 3rd. The only reason I went back to TOA was because I had a great experience with Dr Papaliodis for my shoulder replacement 3 yrs ago. After the poor patient care I received for my hip, iI will not go to TOA ever again,

I've been going to Dr. Brock for a workman's comp claim due to a massive rotator cuff tear. Dr…read more Brock went to bat for me to make sure that workman's comp would approve the surgery. At one point while doing physical therapy, not knowing how many times to do the exercises at home, I was doing them way too many times. When I told Dr. Brock about the number of times I was doing the exercises, he got upset with me, and instructed me to only do them 2 to 3 times a day and no more. The fact that he got upset with me really, REALLY impressed me. That told me that he cares for his patients. Every other doctor I have been to, literally, if given the same circumstances, would have simply told what to do, and that's it. Don't get me wrong, he didn't chew me out, but the look on his face and the tone of his voice showed me that he really does care for his patients. Not only am I extremely impressed with Dr. Brock himself, but also everyone who works there. They treat me like family and make me feel welcome every time I show up for an appointment. I will always strongly recommend Dr. Brock to anyone who is in need of medical care.
