I've been to many nail salons and this is the worst one I've visited. A couple of things- 1) the staff is very rude and stingy 2) they don't have hand dryers! 3) it's overpriced- a regular manicure is $20. Since they don't have hand dryers, they allowed my cousin and I to sit and let our nails dry. When another customer showed up, they abruptly kicked us out when our nails weren't dry yet. There was plenty of space even with us there. As as a result, my cousin's nails got ruined. read more

His pedi is not well done at all and felt rushed by the same lady who kept pushing us for other services such as paraffin wax for him. We just wanted regular pedis for two. Terrible customer service. My friend and I were in for pedicures and the power went out (not their fault, of course), but since the debit machine was down they made us pay full price via e-transfer to the nail technician's personal email. We had to come back the next day for them to finish the shellac polish. It was done in a rushed manner. On my next visit, I was especially unimpressed when I paid an additional $20 to upgrade my manicure to include massage, and the women literally only massaged my hands for 10 seconds. It would be worth it if my nails at least looked good, but they are dull, bumpy, and missing shellac in some spots. In addition to this, the staff members talk/yell at each other from across the salon and ignore you while they do your nails. The salon itself is dirty, and I noticed that the woman doing my nails did not use a clean towel. Gross. Definitely avoid. read more

I badly needed an emergency pedicure for a last minute date night with the hubby and these guys were great! They took me in immediately, did a wonderful job and it was a relaxing and clean environment. Will definitely be back! Prices are average. Second time there was just as great. They also have a stamp card where you can earn a free service after so many :) read more

Grace did my nails and did a fantastic job, however I can't remember the name if the tech who did my pedi--also a good job--good personality and sense of humour. I would have liked to get a design on my toes but didn't bother since I was a bit tired. Prices are a bit high but well worth it. My nails are holding up well and I'll update my post if there is any change. Kim was the tech's name. Update. 3 weeks later. I have now been to Binh's for the second time and I will be back. Another great job on my nails. Both times my nails did not chip or lift. Thanks Grace. read more

I have been going to this salon for a few years now and this is my only time I am not 100% satisfied (today only 90%). So take this with a grain of salt as I go to this place every 3 weeks for the last 2 1/2 years! So I DO recommend this nail salon. Normally service is really really good. Today was a bit dissatisfying however. Booked in for a 11:30 pedi and a 12:00 nail apt. The foot pedi was good, the lady who did it was kind and did a good job on my toes and feet and took her time. My booked apt for my nails, I had to wait over 30 minutes for her to come into work. I sat there for 15 minutes alone until one of the staff came over to file down my shellac nails. Then I waited another 10 minutes for Grace to come, I didn't complain as I have been coming here for so many years and I like Grace a lot, she is a wonderful lady. But it's disappointing to wait for a half our to get nails done as I had things I would of liked to have done. Over all, my nails always hold up well. I keep coming back as Grace does a great job on my nails each time. She is amazing at what she does. I do recommend this place. Staff are kind and friendly. My advice, if you book here, do not have other places to go. It always takes a long time to get nails done here (worth the wait), and today I had to add on an additional 30 minute wait. Grace is very good at what she does, she is a fun person to chat with. Very kind. She gave me a scarf earlier this month for my birthday and did my nails up extra pretty "just because it was my birthday" She will not ignore you or talk only to other staff. So for one day that I was not fully happy there is hundreds other times I was thrilled over my nails! Lengthy review I know but I do say this is a good place to attend!!! read more

Will never go back. Payed full price 8 days ago for gel nails (which last me almost a month before needing to redo) and they were chipping after 2 days. The tech who did them took over 2 hours to do what usually takes just over 1 hour. Was finally able to go back in today to ask that they be redone and was told I would have to pay full price again. I was a Binh's customer in Sherwood Park for years and went in every 3-4 weeks, no trouble. My second visit to this location and I will never return. read more

Always have an amazing experience when I come here. Grace and her girls are friendly, professional and timely. Even when they are busy, they make sure that we are taken care of that same day or make sure we have an appointment the next day. My pedicure is always done well and have a good choice of colours to choose from. My first and only choice to get my nails done. read more

I went to this location and they majorly messed up, over and over. First off, my mom had booked an appointment for us for 3:30 pm on a Sunday, & they never said that it was busy or to book it for later, but when we got there, all the staff were busy. We picked our colors out and waited 20 minutes. My mom was getting gel nails (not gel polish) & I was getting gel polish. A woman had placed her her purse in one of the salon seats & walked out to have a cigarette, and in that time they asked what my color was and started gathering they're stuff to do my nails. One of the staff MOVED the customer's purse and had me sit on the chair. The lady who was outside came back in and looked peeved that the girl had touched her purse, but she sat down and let it pass. Everything was going fine, my nails were being done. My mom was still standing there, it had been about 45 minutes. The girl doing my nails never mentioned anything about my nails (length, the shape, whether they were thick enough or too thin for gel polish). While my nails were being done, I noticed that she didn't fully cover the tip of my nail with polish- she painted the nail fully but on the very tip/edge of my nail, she did not do a stroke of polish to keep it from peeling after dry. After the gel color was done, I expected her to do a top coat, but she did not. Both lamps to cure the polish were flickering and in horrible shape. At this point my mom is complaining and speaking with another customer about how upset she was because she had booked an appointment and two walk ins who came after us were seating and their pedicures were started. The girl finished my nails and we paid and left, my mom never got her nails done because was upset and wasted her time. Fast forward to two days later, my nails are peeling so we go back to complain and they offer to do a gel/arcylic overlay because my nails were "too thin" to keep the gel polish on their own. They fix my nails, put on the overlay and we leave. It's now two days after that and the overlay has not solved anything, the gel underneath is peeling up. I want my money back and an apology because they should not do someone's nails with gel polish if they are "too thin". I will be calling and writing on every business review website I can find. read more
