Try to order the fondue (Vietnamese hot pot) if you get a chance (24h in advance order) and make sure you get fresh spring rolls and Lok Lak beef, their specialty. Everything is so fresh, fine, delicate, well prepared. The service might be slow (the husband is servicing while his wife is in the cooking in the kitchen). Friendly owners. Needless to say, it was Vietnamese food with a northern flare. Many Vietnamese restaurants outside of Vietnam serve cooking influenced mostly by the south, as many southerners fled the country after 1975. We didn't try any other Vietnamese restaurant in Bordeaux but would definitely dine here again if we return to BDX .
