I absolutely adore this winery: the wine, the space, the people, the food, and the community…read more The Wine: The wines are consistently amazing and are made to be aged, without the usual high price tag that comes with that. I like bold, flavorful wine, and they have that in spades. I thought I hated Merlot, for being generally weak, but Terra Blanca's Merlot is fantastic. I thought I only liked red wine, but their Albarino is now my go-to summer white wine. I thought Rose was too sugary of a wine, but their Rose has incredible flavor without heft. I'm an enduring fan of their Block 8 Syrah, but the Cab Sauv is a close second. The Space: It's gorgeous. The building is beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, the vineyard (which you can tour at some of their events) feels old-world-meets-tech, the cellars are amazing, and everything feels welcoming. Like, I don't just want to go here, I want to spend time here. The People: The employees are wonderful: welcoming, knowledgeable, happy, humble, and it never feels like they're just trying to sell you something. They're honest and upbeat, even at times when I *know* they must be feeling rushed or stressed. It makes the whole place feel like hanging out with friends and neighbors (but in a classy way). This is *not* the kind of winery where they pour, recite a litany about the varietal, and walk away. This is the kind of winery where you can walk in and say "I know nothing about wine" and they'll be excited to take you wherever your curiosity about wine takes you. The Food: I've eaten at the Thursday happy hours, at buffet banquets, and at a tasting/pairing event. Each time the food has been delicious, unique, and well-paired. And it's all from scratch, locally grown & grazed, etc. even their charcuterie boards are lovely (and a lot...you will not leave hungry). I recommend trying the flatbread pizzas off their wood-fired grill. Oh, and the menu changes quarterly, so I've yet to get bored with anything. The Community: In addition to this place feeling like a community, and growing one with their wine clubs and virtual tasting group, they're involved in the Tri-Cities community. I love when local small businesses support each other and non-profits in the area! They have regular events and banquet fundraisers for orgs like Children's Developmental Center and TROT. Oh, the prices? I'd call them good. High enough to convey the quality, but low enough to be approachable even for people who are just starting to try wine. And they do a lot of sales and discounts throughout the year. The tasting room prices are spot-on, which keeps Terra Blanca feeling inclusive. TL;DR: Tasty wine at affordable prices, great customer service, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, fun events

She was incredibly attentive and took the time to answer all of my questions, which I really appreciated as a first-time guest. The food and wine were excellent. I ordered the Flatbread Diavola pizza along with a glass of rosé, which was a delicious combo. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was outstanding, and the quality of everything I tried was top-notch. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience and highly recommend Terra Blanca to anyone looking for great wine, great food, and genuinely warm service.

Ahh wrong location!!!! Ignore the below but I can't figure out how to delete…read more Thumbs up however I do wish we were here precovid times to try it out. The wine were good we ended up buying four bottles. The staff were friendly and kind. We had a cork from another winery and they gave us an extra splash of a wine. We also showed the Yelp coupon which was from years ago but they honored it anyway which was nice of them. The members only side looked a little more happening.

The winery/tiny homes are located in the middle of nowhere and it is truly amazing out there. Winery: We already knew we liked their wines and a wine tasting was actually included in our tiny house stay. I was a big fan of their Jet Black Syrah, as I think most people are. They have an indoor tasting room, but also a good size outdoor lawn area with a fire pit, some yard games and even e-bikes for you to take out and stroll around the winery/vineyard! And since we were staying in the tiny home, all of this was available to us after-hours too which was awesome. Tiny House: We stayed in the Gravity Merlot house and I have to say it was definitely the best! This tiny home had everything we wanted and more. They do tell you to bring your own food since they don't offer food, but they literally have everything else. The house was fully stocked with toiletries, and all the kitchen things you would need. The house was actually really good size and ours also had a huge outdoor deck which really extended the living space. The deck came with a grill, multiple seating options, an outdoor table fire pit, and even a "star gazing" bed. It was seriously amazing to have your own space among the vines and to top it off you had great views of the Columbia during the day and a blanket of stars above you at night. They even have a chicken coop where tiny house guests can go get fresh eggs every morning. This experience was definitely one of our top ones we've ever had. Perfect place to go unwind, drink some wine and relax. We even managed to do day trips to Prosser and Walla Walla to check out some other wineries so that drive isn't too bad if you need to get out and about. At the end of the weekend when we were checking out of the tiny home, we got to meet Jarrod (owner/wine maker) who took us on an impromptu tour of the winery and it's facilities. He was super nice and even gifted us a bottle of his favorite ANC wine! We will definitely be back! Such a great weekend experience!

Unfortunately for me, that's where the excitement at this little winery ends. The tasting room is located in the open space right as you walk in. We were greeted by a nice, sweet older woman who proceeded to offer us the tasting which was priced at $2. Since there were lots and lots of wines, (about 12 or so in the tasting) I thought this was appropriate. The problems came with the tasting. Almost all of the wines for me were just 'meh'. After visiting Two Mountains, I was expecting more from this neighboring winery. The rose and the peach dessert wines were both fine, but everything else was rather blah. It was also about 79 degrees in the tasting room, which I think most would agree was a tad warm for a tasting. Apparently, this winery likes to change up their wines and vintages each year. I've had their wine in the past and I thought that the Fat Sow Merlot was pretty tasty. They switched it up this year and I didn't think it was as good. At any rate, I definitely think that all these Washington wineries deserve a visit. I will admit that I know less about wine than some, but my aficionado counterparts agreed with me on the tastings here. This winery has won several awards in the past for their vintages, and while I would love to give them lots and lots of stars for being nice, local, and all that good stuff... I just wasn't that impressed with the wine.

"I love to mix the chocolate and coffee ports...it is like a mocha!" Yech. The "regular" wines were kind of blah also.
