Dr. J.Coursault is OK at best. He wants this reputation for being a pioneer and innovator and it's…read moreall a sham. Neither he or anyone in his office knows more about EDS than anything you could just read online. It's a very cookie cutter experience. He's just banking on the the fact that there are no other EDS clinics and no competition to contradict his practices uselessness. He doesn't want to spend more than five minutes of his time with you. Just wants to inject needles into you and expect $500 cash in return. Even if he has an appointment with you just to talk to you for a few minutes and do nothing $500! However, the office manager is ridiculous. I needed a letter for a handicap admission to Museum elevators, etc., and while he was still at Tulane, his staff whipped it up free, no problem, but the second he got his own staff and practice the people running it, nickel and dime for everything and are very unprofessional. When I asked to update the letter this time I was charged $100 for a letter when any other doctor would have just filled out a form for free. They still did it incorrectly, it took weeks for them to get around to it, they did not fill out the form, and would not give me my money back. Plus, no apology for their incompetence. I went to my Primary Care and within five minutes she filled out the form for me and apologized that any doctor's office would be so monetized and unprofessional. There are other EDS doctors and other doctors that offer prolotherapy in New Orleans FIT will lie to your face and tell you that they are the only ones. They are not. It seems like they only care about getting a reputation like Instagram influencers to be famous and make money to work on athletes without compassion for everyday people.

The Fascia Institute does not bill insurance and will charge you $2,500 before giving a diagnoses…read moreor treatment for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Nurse Kelli Morrell was completely checked out during my virtual consultation. Didnt seem like she wanted to be there. Probably because she's working for a scammer. Each appointment is $500-$600 out of pocket. Dr. Courseault is not qualified to be diagnosing EDS - he has CAQSM Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine, signifying physician's specialized training and expertise in sports medicine. FAAPMR- Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, indicating that the physician is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and has been recognized as a Fellow by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). He does not have a geneticist or rheumatologist on staff and he should not be diagnosing EDS. His team threw out my MaxGen MTHFR DNA test after I sent it off to a lab in TN. I mailed the test myself after my first appointment and then when I cancelled my second appointment because I CANNOT AFFORD IT, they said my test had been thrown out. The Fascia Institutes positive reviews are written by other healthcare providers and most likely their own employees. Go ahead and google their names. Stacey Welch and Ryan Joshuah Yates!! woohoo!! This experience only adds to my unnecessary and wasteful medical stress /debts. I have had bilateral knee surgeries on ACL and MCL in the same year. I have chronic pain and issues with hyperextension, piezogenic papsules, fibula alignment. I wake up with a limp in the morning from stiffness and struggle to stand long term or run long distances. I am 23 yo and seemingly "healthy." I have been looking for answers and asked for recommendations through friends working in LCMC. Unfortunately they led me to the fascia institute. Do not waste your time here. And if someone on your team reads this. Please consider how you are treating people who've been in the medical run around for a long time. Please don't waste their time or take advantage of their desperation for medical attention. You are only contributing to a very broken system and making it more difficult for working class people to find solutions. If you're in medicine only for the money get out!!!!

Three months ago, I left a review regarding not being reached after my stopping in, bringing in my…read morescript for PT etc. I would like to inform that I had to switch and recall the efforts that Kenner Orthopedic made to make things right with me as a potential patient of theirs. Their efforts were commendable so much so that once I finished my first round of PT, I decided to give them a chance and after 3 weeks they have completely restored my trust in their professionalism, courtesy compassion and expertise. It is a large facility but the therapist and support team are attentive and considerate. The receptionist Madelyn is so very kind and pleasant, Craig is very courteous, observant, and professional. And Henry the PT working with me, is knowledgeable, kind, hardworking and is great to work with. Stacy, Ramiro, Tiffany, and Camelia are all kind and pleasant. These are the ones who have worked with me. The facility may be very large but they truly give great care to all patients. I thought it only fair to share this good report given I shared apparently a one off occurrence. I wish Kenner Orthopedic all the best and if you are looking for a PT facility with good customer service and patient care give them a try.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the equipment was in excellent condition. They took their time explaining the different exercises and machinery, and ramped up the level of difficulty at the appropriate intervals. The home exercises that they showed me helped a lot and they always answered my questions with an intelligent and well-explained response. If you live in the vicinity and need some rehabilitation from an injury or recent surgery, I recommend giving this place a shot.
