This was our view from dining table.

No WiFi, no showers, no laundry, no tables, no fire rings, no grill, no cable (even tho the brochure said there WAS cable). Staff was knowledgeable but certainly not friendly. Most of the sites had a cement patio but our space was full of gravel about 1" in size. No patio. I twisted my ankle several times just trying to walk around. Mostly long term renters. AND EXPENSIVE! Even with Good Sam discount it was twice the price for none of the amenities. The trolly does go to the park but only at 9:00 am and home at 4:00. Most pets can't be left alone that long. I will NEVER stay at Biltmore again.

I would recommend. It's right off the highway. I read all the reviews and was concerned. Tried to call ahead of time several times no answer. Showed up found a spot hooked up and the next morning went into the office to pay. The owner is not overly friendly but she was very helpful with directions.

We recently checked into the Biltmore Gardens RV Park on our way to another destination. We pulled into the lot and were looking for a place to check in, and went to the Antique Store. We didn't know they were related. A gentleman behind the desk was taking care of a couple ahead of us as we were patiently waiting. Suddenly a woman comes in from the back room, asks our name and said, "You shouldn't keep the 4 dogs in the car this long". I responded that we didn't think we would be waiting so long, and she proceeded to check us in. Again and again and again we were told to clean up after our dogs, even though we told the woman the first time that we would. In fact our dogs are diapered at this very minute. We checked in. The RV neighbors are mostly long timers there and not friendly to us. We didn't have any altercation with any of them, but they are not friendly at all. Ok, we don't care, we're only here for 2 nights. While looking for a place to put my stake, with leads for the dogs, my husband had a problem with the power. At that time I noticed that there were paper cups and latex gloves strewn about by prior tenants. The man came near me and reminded me to cleanup after the dogs and I told him, who is going to clean up after your last tenant? He began to grumble and pick the stuff up, saying he didn't see this when he mowed the lawn. Whatever, I didn't care. Our largest dog did her duty and I went to clean up after her. I put the excrement in the bag and hung the bag tightly on an outside hook. I planned on taking care of it tomorrow, but didn't want to bring it into the trailer. My husband and I discussed how intrusive they were, peaking into our SUV, rather than attending to their desk. We have one big dog, and three tiny ones, about 5 lbs. each. Dogs are listed as permitted per Good Sam, and we would have no reason not to disclose the truth, if asked. I said to my husband that this feels like an episode of Criminal Minds, but not as bad (yet). We slept last night, but I had a feeling someone was outside. Ok, sounds paranoid, right? My husband was going to take the trash in the morning, I went to the hook to give him the poop, it was gone. We went into Savannah the next day for a couple of hours and came back to things untouched. We will be leaving in the morning for our next destination. This is not a bad destination we had electric, water and sewage dumping. We would have internet if we were a member of Comcast, and used it during the hours of operation that coincided with the antique shop. There is a sort of main road on one side of us, but we were in the back and the noise wasn't too bad. However there is a railroad behind us, which is not too active, but you hear the toot-toot of the train every so often. There is no pool, no gardens or bathrooms/showers. It is not a terrible place to stay, but I don't think I will be back.

This is the overflow campsite area. The vehicles seen through the fence on the left are on the highway and that is my RV straight ahead.

I was at this campground which is overpriced for one, for a week. I didn't know how long I would be here at this shutdown I was told somewhere around 7-10 days so I told the lady working the front desk that I would pay for a week and then might need to tack a few days on if need be. A week rolls around I go to the front desk after working all night and I'm ready to go to bed but wanted to pay for a few more days before doing so, she informs me that I have to move my camper to a different spot because someone else is coming in who prefers the spot I'm in even though he will be paying the same price I am. Annoyed I was nice and just told her I had no problem moving because all I do is work and sleep, doesn't matter where I'm parked. I pack up my entire camper to move then I get fully setup in the new spot just as I'm about to go into my camper to go to bed my new neighbor told me about him not having electricity hence the giant industrial generator outside his camper. I go inside my camper to check, I have no electricity. I'm just tired and ready for bed I was very annoyed and went to the office where the front desk lady rudely told me she already had an electrician coming out later that afternoon. This is when I realized she knew all along she was moving me to a spot that was messed up so a new guest would stay. Needless to say I called around and found another campground and got a refund.

So first of all I've never posted a review on anything ever, but i figured I might could save…read moresomeone the headache and terrible experience I have had at this campground. My husband and I were staying at this campground for a shut down at the paper mill. We had reserved a spot for an entire week but we told the lady at the office we would probably stay a few days after because we were not sure how long the job would be. We asked her if it was fine if we stayed over our first week and could just pay the remaining days we stayed over when we checked out. She told us that it was perfectly fine. No problem. Well the following Sunday morning we came to our camper after working a 12 hour night shift to the lady telling us we had to move our camper to another spot because they had reserved that one to someone else. Considering we were so tired we just did what she asked without any problem( keep in mind we did this in the pouring rain) just to please them and not start a argument cause we simply wanted to go to sleep because we had to get up and go back into work that night. We got our camper moved literally straight across the lot we were at. My husband called the front desk and made sure one more time before we put all of our stuff out and level our camper if we were going to be able to stay there for two more days and she once again reassured him we would not have to move again the rest of our stay. Well we come in from work the next morning get showers get in bed and just before we fell asleep we get woke up by the manager asking what we were doing there. She very rudely told us were supposed to already be gone and that we had to leave. The lot they moved us to had already been reserved for a month by a man whose camper was being repaired somewhere and they told us that there was a mix up and there was nothing she could do and we had to leave immediately because if the man came back he would be very mad. We were so disgusted by the way we were treated we didn't even try to argue so we packed up and left. The owner of the camp ground was so rude. I have never had an experience at any camp ground like this. We will never be back. I just hope nobody ever has to go through anything like this because it was so hard for us to move our camper two mornings in a row after working all night. Honestly just a terrible managed, money hungry camp ground. Be careful if you decide to stay here you just might get done the same way. By the way if I could chose no stars I would but It wouldn't let me post without star rating it.
