The time spent behind-the-wheel as well as the closed course sessions were definitely very good with patient and good teachers and driving instructors. They taught her the rules of driving well. However, trying to schedule the Plus 10 hours portion of her contract has been tedious and quite unpleasant. The person who schedules these sessions at the Novi location has been offering times during the week when my sophomore is in school and it's difficult to find any availability immediately after school. At one point, I was even told to not call them and that they would contact me with availability as and when slots opened up. That's not what I would expect of a driving school that needs to have a better system in place for these private drives, especially when they're already paid for. Moreover, the majority of their clients are high schoolers who they clearly know can't book driving sessions during school hours. I truly hope they can modify their scheduling and get a system that's more conducive to helping high schoolers book their private lessons more easily.

And this is directly after a 6 hour school day. I have to say, I'm disappointed. Learning to drive should NOT be this exhausting. 1 star; wouldn't even recommend this cruel dump to my sister in law.

The parking lot is crazy, and it's the parents not the kids who can't seem to drive in there. We witnessed a few post collisions and near collisions in that lot. The classes are scheduled online to show two hours, but they expect you to leave at 1.5 hours. They never had a single class that lasted the 2 hours they advertise. The times they have to do the drive with the instructor is limited and you have to work to get it to fit your schedule. The parent meeting was held by someone that didn't give the right information for future segments and it was an advertising stint to get you to come back to them. The second to the last class is the test, and the last class is for those to do a retake if they fail. The instructor didn't tell anyone that the last class wasn't needed if you passed, so students were dropped off and many were just hanging around waiting for a pick up because they didn't know they didn't have class. Overall, they were the most convenient and had the most space available, but if you can go somewhere else you should.

My daughter in rolled in this school for drivers education prior to the pandemic and had to stop secondary to the virus. This was all very acceptable during these months, but after several phone calls, messages and emails, no one has returned our phone calls to get her restarted in the process. All her friends have completed the course who started with her at the same time. This place is awful!!! Do not sign your son or daughter up through the school.

I used to think that my friends could teach me to drive, but I finally realized that I needed the wisdom of a professional and that's just what I got. Janita not only taught me how to drive well, she taught me how to pass the State of Michigan road skills test (two very different goals). She also helped me relax while I was driving by telling me a slew of truly bizarre stories. Trust me, great storytelling ability is an excellent quality in a driving instructor. I took 4 hours of lessons. I found the rates to be the best among all the local driving schools. It's $50 an hour for adults, or $95 when you purchase 2 hours at once (and you don't have to use the two hours at the same time). As far as I can tell, this business has no storefront. Their website is kinda lame, but it gave me the phone numbers I needed to get the ball rolling. The practice vehicle was in great condition and fine to drive; it comes complete with a passenger side emergency brake! 1 Stop Better does not offer road skills testing. Oh, the best part is that they will pick you up and drop you off wherever you want. I was able to turn my lesson into a ride from my Ann Arbor job to my Ypsi home - and I drove it! Being a regular bus commuter, that felt awfully good.

After showing proof of the lessons they "found" my certification in her office. Can't believe it took 3 months to get something so simple.
