With all due respect to Ashley K., I couldn't disagree more. Of course, we each are on our own journey here and one person's experience varies widely from that of another. I pass no judgment, either way, but would like to offer my own subjective opinion. I sought relationship counseling from Billy, not sex therapy. Billy was utterly respectful, an attentive and active listener, and gave me incredibly useful advice that gave me peace in dealing with a personal situation that was almost entirely out of my own control. I was at my wits' end and suffered from anxiety that made it difficult to breathe. All I know is that Billy was extremely sympathetic and helpful to me and I appreciate him for it. I recommend Billy to anyone who is looking for more than just a 'yes man.' He's genuine and caring and personable and wise and educated and contemplative. Most of all, he's helpful. Billy has helped my husband and me work through handling a difficult time with our adult child. He asks pointed and relevant questions. He listens carefully and takes notes diligently. He has helped us keep our situation in proper perspective (when we went to him we were letting our minds run away with worst case scenarios). He has helped us acknowledge and accept REALITY, where we fit in the equation, and what we can and cannot control. I'm not much one for reviewing people. In fact, this is the only review I have on the internet. With that said, I think it's important that I review Billy Grammar. Without getting into Billy Grammar's counseling skills, character, and personality, the only thing I can say is to steer clear. He's not helpful and there are a lot more knowledgeable, empathetic, experienced, and intelligent counselors out there. Billy is not the one for you. Keep searching and good luck. read more

Not the experience I had with Billy either. It's hard to imagine a better counselor. He is kind, caring, he listens very well and that doesn't mean he is silent. He hears what you are saying and can interpret it and articulate it back in ways you can't express. Like as soon as you do hear him speak, it's worth the wait because he can simplify the most complicated issue and he does it in an honest, articulate, thoughtful, helpful, and kind manner. Another reviewer mentioned him as having wisdom and I agree. Very intelligent and gifted at what he does! My husband and I went to him for couples counseling and he was delicate with and respectful to both parties reminding us in his gentleness that we were looking for a positive way forward. It was a great way to frame things and also truth. He is worth every penny. If you are looking to move your life forward and get real help, I cannot recommend Billy enough. He came highly recommended and it was completed founded. He is a Christian who knows how to counsel without preaching doctrine. read more

Billy is unprofessional at best. I highly recommend finding someone else. I went in regarding a divorce, not sex therapy as yelp has him listed. He is very judgmental and more interested in hearing himself speak. I found a different therapist and suggest you do as well. read more
