This place sucks, I came in there to buy and already had my eye on a certain mattress and the sales guy insisted I looked at the restonic beds which from what he said had a great warranty BUT you couldn't get stains on the mattress or it would be voided. So I then got talked into buying a mattress protector( for 100.00 dollars ) 6 months down the road I noticed the protector was not working and I had stains on the bed. From there I contacted the warranty and made a claim, but apparently the warranty wouldn't cover it for some ridiculous reason in their NOT COVERED list. So now I'm stuck with this bed which I spent over 1k on plus to make matters worse the bed has a hole caving in already. So heads up don't buy warranty with montage furniture service cause they will find any way to NOT replace your furniture. I thought the whole idea of a warranty was so if something happened the problem would be fixed or replaced. I received neither, also with billy bobs I was told I was receive a call back and here I am still waiting almost a week later. So I strongly suggest going else where and saving yourself a headache with these people. I wish I could had seen something like this before I got into this mess. read more

I made the mistake of assuming that they would have the cheapest prices in SA, and I was willing to sacrifice a little bit of customer service and convenience in order to save money. Well, the customer service was terrible, as expected, but I bought decent quality mattress set that I thought I got a really good deal on. The mattress gave me back pain, and thanks to their No Returns Ever policy, I'm stuck with it. I put it in the guest room and went to Mattress Firm, where I got great customer service and a better quality mattress set, which I have 120 days to return, and which ended up being cheaper than the one I got at Billy Bobs. My boyfriend and I Originally purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm, but were not satisfied with the sales experience or mattress. I felt like We were settling for something we could afford, since the mattresses were $3000-$4000. I went to Billy Bobs beds and was met by our salesman, John. This guy knew everything about every mattress! I was very impressed that once I told him exactly what We needed in a mattress, he pointed us to the perfect one! Instantly feel in love with a Restonic model. We canceled our Mattress Firm order and purchased the Restonic along with high quality box set and frame. Delivered it the same day! Delivery guys were polite and set up the bed for $15. We've been sleeping on the complete package for the past few days and we LOVE it. We purchased a queen size mattress/boxspring set for $500.00 . When we got it home, we noticed there was a tear on the mattress and immediately called back and arranged to take it back and exchange it for another one. No Problems. The problem began a few days later after having slept on the mattress for a few days....it was not as good as we thought and it seemed that when you were laying on it you seemed to gravitate toward the center of the bed. We decided the quality of this mattress might not be what we thought and called back and wanted to return it and exchange it for another mattress (BETTER QUALITY/HIGHER PRICE). The manager/owner (or whoever he was) was rude and completely un-accommodating. Even though we were STRESSING the fact that we were NOT asking for a refund and that we intended on paying MORE for another mattress, they would NOT allow us to take it back to get another mattress. I'm not really sure how this place has stayed in business this long with customer service (or LACK thereof) like this. Sure the prices are low, and yes there are lots of mattresses to choose from....but for this service....I will always go somewhere else. I purchased an iComfort mattress from another location about 2 yrs ago.....after a year of trying to sleep on it (with back pain/issues)....we just happened to mention it to a salesman at the same store when we were looking for a new sofa and HE mentioned that we could return it (and upgrade) to another mattress if we found one that we liked at a higher price of course. When we arrived to the store, they said the offer was for white only. When I asked the manager to show me where on the ad it said white only, he refused and simply told me it was white only - take it or leave it. I told him he should honor the ad price and he said he had been hearing the same story for 25 years. If you've been hearing the same story for 25 years, maybe you should pay more attention to the ads your company runs. Bait and Switch! We went in there to look at a mattress that was advertised for a certain price. While we were there, we saw a name brand Serta which was priced higher than the one we went in to look at. We laid on the matress and knew right away that we wanted the Serta mattress instead. I asked the salesman if they could do any better on the price and he said yes he could. He came back with a price that was too good to believe. I asked him specifically, "This price is for that mattress right there?" He told me yes it was, so I said "I will take it!" We brought it home and put it on our boxspring and when we laid on it, we instantly knew it was not the same mattress that we laid on in the store! Little did I know that the mattress on display was labled with the wrong name. When I went back, I saw that the name "west dean was on the label, but the mattress on display was not a West Dean! They had marked the mattress down for me more than a hundred and fifty bucks and I thought I was getting a deal. It turns out that the same bottom of the barrel mattress that I purchased could be purchased elsewhere for much less and it wasn't even the same one that I tried out! They sold me what was on the diplay tag, but it was not what was on display! I was pissed. False advertising at it's best! Their ad showed 1500 thread count for $19.99. The ad showed various colors of the sheet sets. I get down there and they tell me that $19.99 is for the white set only. I asked them why the ad didn't state that and they said it did in the fine print. I asked them to show me and the girl showed me on the ad where it said "the brightest white". Nothing on the ad said for white only. Or starting at $19.99. No where. "..the brightest white" was their justification for advertising it was for white only. Maybe Billy Bob sleeps directly on his box springs (resulting in an aching back and a sour attitude) but normal people do not. We went to Billy Bobs Beds after a few friends suggested it would be a cheaper place to visit, after my wife and I had been searching for a new split top king for about a month. First flag there is a problem is that you have to walk through what appears to be an active warehouse to get to the store. As we are walking through the warehouse part an employee with a bed on a cart almost hits us. The second flag is that posted up on the door when you walk into the show room is a sign that says keep children off the beds. Now I think this is ok you don't want kids jumping on the bed. After we get in the show room we see the third flag, the carpet was put in when the store opened and that was the last time anything was done to it. The carpet was coming up in places making it a trip hazard, It was dirty which makes me wonder about the bed storage areas as well, and over crowed you have to crawl from the foot of the bed to try them, I am handicap and I have a hard time getting in bed as it is without crawling on a bed. Then we meet our sells men whom we tell exactly what we are looking for but is too stupid to believe that a man and women know what we want after a month of looking at beds and all we are here to do is price compare. So we finally get to the bed we wanted to look at and go to lay down on it one more time, bring our five year old son up on the bed to lay next to us so we can keep an eye on him, and the salesman reveals the reason the sign about children is on the door, we had a kid pee on the bed so we don't allow kids on the bed. Really even potty trained ones, what about the adults with bladder problems that are just as likely to pee the bed? That was it, we got off the bed found out it was the same price as the one at factory mattress on Culebra and left being almost hit again by the guy with the bed cart. Save your self time and go to the factory mattress on Culebra, if you are will to do the same thing as Billy Bobs does which is close out, discontinued, and over stocked, you will find the same thing at factory mattress with a cleaner store, no warehouse personal, and the same price. read more

I purchased a king size Restonic mattress from Billy Bobs Beds about about nine years ago and was satisfied with my experience. At this time they were still selling the Tempur-Pedic mattress. Last year I went back to Billy Bobs Beds to purchase a new mattress. I specifically asked the salesman about the Tempur-Pedic mattress. He stated that they no longer carry the Tempur-Pedic mattress. I asked why and he said "They experienced too many warranty issues with the Tempur-Pedic mattress so they discontinued selling them". I decided to purchase another Restonic mattress based on this info. I placed a Restonic mattress on layaway. While I had the mattress on layaway, I went to other stores and looked at other mattress. I also inquired about Tempur-Pedic honoring their warranty. In every instance, I was told Tempur-Pedic had the best warranty in the industry. I was also informed that Tempur-Pedic terminated their contract with Billy Bobs Bed due to contract violations. I went back to Billy Bobs Beds to cancel my layaway. However, I was not able to get a refund of my deposit...my bad. It stated no refunds on the receipt! I asked if I could exchange for another mattress. The salesman said "I could get a more expensive mattress but not a cheaper mattress". So as long as I was going to give them more money, it was ok. I just walked out and realized I lost my deposit. My company has done business with Billy Bobs for a long time. However this last transaction will be the last for us. We had bought 4 mattresses and other items from Billy Bobs for a group home for the intellectually disabled. We had some issues with delivery and it ended up that the delivery person had to come out twice to deliver to a home that my company owns. When I called Billy Bob's I was immediately yelled at by Bill'y wife and was not able to say anything to that nightmare of a lady, she was very rude and would not listen. When I told her that we needed to exchange the mattresses because the ones purchased were the thin foam mattresses and we wanted the spring mattresses she was even more rude, and I told her we don't need to do business with her but since we have been doing business for a while we would love to continue I did ask for Billy and she said he would call me back. When I spoke with him he said we could keep everything and he would give us a full refund but that we were to high maintenance and that he didn't want to do business with us anymore. Well Billy you have lost our business but not only that everyone that works here in our office. Also everyone that I know will know this story and over some misunderstandings and bad customer service you are going to lose business by more than just us. Maybe you need to talk with your sales staff about customer service, and live by the motto the customer is always right. read more

It's a shame you can't give NEGATIVE STARS. I went to "Furniture Bob's" for a dining table. Had a GREAT purchase experience actually. The salesman was helpful and helped us pick something from a catalog we could order that was perfect. THAT'S WHERE IT ENDED. He said the table would take about 2 weeks to come in and they would call for delivery. THREE weeks later, I was calling them to check on it. The first gentleman (not the salesman I used) said he could call to check on the order and call me back FIRST THING the next morning - NEVER DID OF COURSE. So I had to call them AGAIN. Then I get told the most interesting story.... "when I ordered the table it said in stock and about 2 weeks for delivery; then when I checked again after a week it said 4 weeks for delivery. I checked just now and now it shows to not even be manufactured anymore. So I don't know." Um OK!!!! Sounds to me like it was never ordered in the first place (sure took my down payment money though). So he offers to cancel my order (duh) and refund my deposit. Which of course he says will take 5-7 business days (corporate has to approve it of course). OK - FINE! I waited TWO FULL WEEKS - no refund. So I start calling - of course get the run around from two other people (didn't even see refund requested). Finally the salesman gives me some line about "oh you'll get it eventually, corporate approved it, I just don't know where it is"! Are you kidding me! I don not recommend billy bob beds! My husband and I purchased a mattress 2 years ago for almost $1000 within months (2-3) it started dipping where we slept. Became very uncomfortable and you could see the dips even with the sheets and a blanket on (thin quilt). So I called they asked me for the invoice number and said "the thing is the dip has to be 1 1/2 inches deep in order for the warranty to work." Of course they don't tell you the specifications when you purchase the mattress they just tell you "it's under warranty" but in reality never giving you any money back. Guy told me to measure with a string to see the dip so we did but we got around 1 1/4 inch or maybe a little more. Of course we may have been measuring incorrectly but we still tried it. My husband didn't think it was a good idea to take it at the time bc they prob weren't gonna do anything bc of the size of the dip. So we ended up keeping it. We didn't have money to buy another mattress until 2 years later. We bought one which is super comfortable and we took back the mattress to billy bob beds. My husband put the mattress laying flat in one of our vacant bedrooms and a week later we took it back. There was a heavy set man who spoke with my husband and told him "just by looking at it I can tell you it's not 1 1/2 inches dip." Nothing else was done. My husband didn't want to bring it back bc we didn't have the room for it, the guy told him we have a recycle bin outback it's $10 to leave it here. So my husband pays him $10. So instead of getting our money back we gave them an extra $10! Honestly I believe all their mattresses are recycled and have other people's dirty old cells, skin tissue and God knows what else! For it to dip so quickly this bed prob was recycled and they sell it at an outrageous price. I want to warn others not to buy a mattress from them bc they are crooks and selling recycled beds! For the price we paid for this mattress it should of never dipped in the first place and we should of got our money back. I will never purchase from this company again!
