I received no calls, and have no voicemail messages from Billy Bob's owner. So I stand by what my original review said: BUYER BEWARE. You will be happy UNLESS and UNTIL you have a problem. I would also add that if Billy Bobs is now leaving their floor models on the floor to the point that a firm mattress feels and is spoken of as being plush, there's no way to know what you are truly taking home. This was not the case with my other 3 purchases. So I suggest that you lay on your mattress before taking it out of the plastic to prevent the same thing from happening to you. You can see from her response to my review that Billy Bobs will do nothing to rectify the situation. Great experience with no pressure, went yesterday because my toddler wet my mattress and it was done for, they advertise a 169$ special for a queen but it wasn't to my satisfaction they had a really good selection and Richard pointed out a better deal for my needs, fast service, not rushed, and got my car loaded and we were good to go in less than an hour! I we t to buy my son a twin bed on Monday august 30th 2021 and had to take it back Wednesday sept 1st 2021. The sales man on Monday was very nice and told me I could return it or upgrade then I showed up Wednesday they had a rude unprofessional sales man that really didn't want to help us or try to get us what we wanted he was very rude. Finally the lady working came to help us and was very professional to the point that she made everything fine but that man working there needs to be fired. For the best price, Service is consistent with price I am quite pleased with products One bed I bought here I chose based on hopes of providing 3nights of sleep. But not comfortable enough for a fourth. Another, for about $80 more Is better for those who an extended stay is more desired. It's not a high end place. Just good products at reasonable prices. It reminds me of a thrift store but the products are new. They don't allow kids on the beds, drinks, candy, or food inside. So maybe don't bring unruly children. They will tie your mattress to your roof for $4 bucks. It's a pretty good deal. However, the young guy in charge told his subordinate to make sure they tie it good cuz the last one (some other guy tied) fell off. So if you trust yourself, maybe bring your own cord and DIY. I needed a new bed, brought a king size bed for $1200.00. I feel like what I picked out and what was delivered was two different things. The mattress was extremely light, could move it with my knee. I brought a firm bed. I went to the store twice, called twice no calls returned and the owner was never around. I think they have cameras outside so they can see who's coming so they can hide. I just brought another form mattress from overstock. Best purchase I made and half the price. Do not waste your money here. read more

I did a lot of research before we finally decided to come to Billy Bob's as my grandparents had just recently purchased one of their advertised "159$ for a Queen pillow-top" beds. We were looking for a firm, Queen sized bed with a box spring and a bed frame. We noticed immediately that they had a decent selection and were excited to try out the beds and take one home that day. Yes, they have amazingly affordable prices for name-brand beds and we walked out with an entirely new, comfortable bed (and 1,500 thread count sheets for 30$) for roughly 500$ which they then loaded and tied down for us for 4$. They also were selling pillows for 9.99, but having 12 already, we didn't really need anymore. I have no complaints about the bed or the entire payment process. It was smooth sailing and we've enjoyed our bed thus far. My biggest complaint is the customer service and attitudes of the employees at this place. I've never experienced such rude, uninterested, unprofessional people in my entire life. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had and I was happy when we were finally able to leave. Yes, they have comfortable beds and the prices are ALMOST unbeatable, but to be treated like the dirt on someone's shoe while you're trying to purchase a product is unacceptable. So, unfortunately, I cannot recommend Billy Bob's Beds as the customer service ruined the entire experience for us. We won't be back. read more

This place is a little sketchy and they (meaning every person I encountered whom represented this business) had an attitude and one guy flat out side "I really don't care, we really don't need your business." Wow! However we were in desperate need of a larger mattress. My husband and I just got married and were sharing my full. This new bed was our first "big" purchase. I have had nothing but good experiences here. The people who work here are nice, knowledgeable and quick to help. I bought a mattress and sheets for my 16 year son. They told me which is a better quality for the right price. Don't get me wrong they have some cheap awful beds here but they have too. They need to have a wide selection. If you allow the sales associates to help you they will get you a good deal and they will answer all of the questions you have. My advice is do not go for the cheapest bed because they are horrible. I bought a firm queen size mattress last year with a guarantee of 10yrs well after two weeks of usage there was already a permanent dip which in time got really bad and began hurting my back so last week I turned the mattress 180 degrees and within the one week another dip in already noticeable. Unlike other stores in order to return the mattress you must have the original receipt and you are responsible for returning the mattress yourself. Other stores will send a representative or ask you send photos of the dip which is very obvious, but NOT Billy Bobs Bed. I don't have a truck and to get someone to do it will cost 69 dollars. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from them. Ask for the specifics of the return policy. Bad service and even worse quality read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Bad customer care is a huge sign to STOP! Two years ago I went here to buy what I hoped would be a quality mattress and box spring. The sales people were incredibly rude and completely inattentive but I needed something comfortable. I spent OVER $300 on a "quality" twin mattress made of "high quality" memory foam that I imagined would last at least 5-7 years. I'm a small woman and weigh less that 140 lbs, year round, dropping to 125-130 at my yearly low point. In other words I am not "too much" for the product. I ignored the utter rudeness and inattentiveness of the staff and picked my mattress and then a box spring, which they charged me over $90.00 for. The total purchase, after taxes was over $400 for a "high quality" memory foam mattress and an incredibly cheaply constructed box spring that ripped up before I got it the less than 2 miles home. Again, I thought just a box spring, no worries. Two years later, even though I have kept an inexpensive 2" Walmart memory foam mattress topper on it the whole time, I have noticed it sinking and becoming rather soft and uncomfortable. Tonight I though perhaps "flipping" it would help and for the very first time unzipped the expensive looking brocade cover to switch it around. I was stunned to find on the top it was an inch and a half of memory foam [less than the thickness of the Walmart memory foam topper I have always had on top est. $25] and the entire rest of the "mattress" is regular upholstery foam, which has already turned that gross yellow color it gets with age. There is no flipping possible unless I want to sleep on cheap couch foam. Wow. Just wow. I would never trust these people again. Never. A new My Pillow mattress topper is less and has a guarantee. Beware! All sales are final no matter what! Mistakenly I took my mother who has Alzheimer's (still fairly high functioning) into this store to purchase sheets. Never been in the store before so we looked around at all the beds etc. As we went to check out I thought she was buying just the sheets and told her I would be in car. Well she bought a bed and a protector (which is a $99 cleaning service I have since found out) on top of the sheets. Now no fault of the salesman who is doing his job. I feel a salesman job is to stretch the truth to make the sale (in my belief lie some and make it out to be more than what it is). When I called back to talk to them about it he started the pitch and put it back on me (which I will take some because apparently I can't trust this store and should of stayed there). Yep and I called him a liar from what he was telling me. I honestly do believe he was stretching the truth with me. But in the end I now have a bed I did not need nor did she. So just remember if you shop at this place you can never ever return anything. Therefore, I would not recommend it. CAUTION: BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS! I bought a FULL mattress from Billy Bob's Beds last August for my brother when he moved to Texas. He's being eaten up by some kind of bug. It can only be this bed as it is in a separate area of the house and no one else is having this problem. We had ABC Pest come over to see what the problem was and they said BED BUGS! It will cost over $2200 to rid the mattress and the house of this infestation. After seeing the condition of the showroom and warehouse of Billy Bob's Beds, I can say I'm not surprised. Okay.. so I had a good experience here. The salesmen were pleasant but did your stereotypical sales pitch of dragging us to the more expensive bed. This was okay as it actually worked out for us when we found a middle range. Delivery was good and it was a quick and easy process. I heard from some friends that they had bought some face masks to wear in response to COVID-19 requirements, and that they had paid $10 for them at Billy Bob's. They just got theirs recently, so I went by today, and lo-and-behold, they were no longer $10, Billy Bob's had jacked them up to $14.99... These masks are from China, and looks like you can get them usually for around $2 or less. So, $10 was already a big mark-up, but now jacking the price up further to $14.99?! Reeks of price gauging by Billy Bob's. Shame on them, and other businesses that do this. read more

Just paid a visit to both of bobs furniture stores and I am very happy we chose to pay them a visit. My husband and I just moved to San Antonio from Orange County CA and needed to furnish our new studio. Angel was very patient and helpful when it came to making a well informed purchase. I can't remember the gentleman's name that helped us at Bobs other store but he was also very helpful and patient. Both men took their time to help secure the best prices for our furniture to keep us with in budget. I'll add photos of our new furniture once we're completely moved in. Should have listened to the reviews!! Came here.to purchase my daughter a bed so I had her lay on several before a rude employee asked her to get off. This after another guy told me that it was ok for her to get on the beds to try out! I told him that and he turns around to ask the guy if he told me that it was ok and of course he said no!!! SMDH!
