However, I couldn't find a box of collectibles, specifically records, each worth about $25 to $50. I called Rick and asked about the box. He pretended to be helpful and said he'd come to the storage room the next morning to help me find it. But instead of helping me locate it, he took a motorcycle helmet that I had left with the items I hadn't boxed because I was about to deliver them right away. I'm quite concerned about this man. When he was finishing my move on Saturday, the 19th, he had a coffee cup from Tim Hortons. I was standing close to him, and I could smell beer. When I asked him about it, he said, "It's my morning coffee" and made a gesture for me to stay quiet. The next morning same thing with a coffee cup filled with beer. This man is working drunk!!!

This mover was booked by me through Uhaul to offload a 26' truck from Ottawa. The order was placed…read moreon 1st December, and I phoned to ensure they had received the order and get confirmation that I could expect them at 9am on 9 December 2024. The whole experience was an absolute nightmare.... they arrived more than 4 hours late and were high as a kite. We had already offloaded more than half of the truck by the time they arrived. The lead on the team kept on calling me Kevin, that's not my name. I asked who Kevin was and he said it was someone that phoned him yesterday and that was why he was here today...? I feel sorry for Kevin because these guys were a no show for him. The movers started randomly grabbing boxes marked as fragile and rough handling them. The lead had absolutely no manners and was ignorant, and deaf as he wouldn't listen to anything we said. It was so bad that we thought we were on candid camera. We told them to leave. I would absolutely no recommend this mover.
