Fancy some pool?…read more This billiard / pool hall in the Kulturbrauerei area is fantastic and my to-go spot for several years now. 20+ tables, a relaxed atmosphere, a friendly bartender, and moderate prices (6 Euro an hour before 8pm, after it's 7.80 per hour) The crowd here is mixed: you'll find the pro player as well as lots of occasional peeps and first timers. I like the interior - leather couches, dim light, dark wooden tables, and new equipment. They really take care of this location. Make some reservations on busy nights (Fr/Sat). Throughout the rest of the week you should be able to get a table anytime though.

One thing I should have known in advance is that you can actually reserve a table, and perhaps I should actually do that next time I come on a weekend. The atmosphere just reminds me of an old vintage bar, with dim lights and laid back tunes, well maintained gear and to me- it's just overall happiness - whose up for a game?

Maybe I've been watching too much Top Chef but I can't understand why anyone would have served an egg like that. It also came with some really burnt bacon. The potatoes themselves were well cooked and seasoned. We also got some schnitzel. It came with some hot fries, which were the highlight. The schnitzel was a little too chewy and a little too greasy. Both dishes came with a "salad" that neither of us had the courage to eat, it looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. Then, after we finished I moved my plate and found a piece of raw chicken stuck to the bottom. So our finished plates were in the vicinity of uncooked chicken...I wish I could give this place zero stars. There aren't a lot of options in this area of Karow, but it would be better to eat nothing than eat here.
