Contacted Bill Schell to do work on my NOLa house. I stressed I could not be there, because I live in NYC & gave them the number of my building manager. I wanted my building manager to be there with them for every minute of their inspection. The day of the inspection I get a text from Schell electric, 45 minutes after the appointed time, asking me for the number of my building manager !? They inspected my property. Afterwards, I Had a relaxed conversation with Bill. He Seemed honest, described the situation in NOLa since the Hard Rock building collapsed, went over everything needed for my building. Very positive convo. Afterwards talked to my building manager & he mentioned that he did not see them inspect under the house, even though there was a $5k cost estimated for repairs for under the house, so I called Bill back. Bill wasn't available so I described my concern with the discrepancy in the inspection, with the women who answered the phone (maybe Becky?). Instead of understanding that as a customer I've had to go through many, many, BSers, half assers, liars & cheaters to find real electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies etc that do good work, she got ridiculously & unprofessionally indignant & snippy, accused me of calling them liars (!), stated she didn't like my attitude & hung up on me. When all she had to do was assure they did inspect under the building. I ended up calling my building manager back & checking my security cameras & could see they did "look" under the building, I'm not sure they crawled underneath. But that doesn't matter; the point is, I'm not going to spend $8000-$10,000 with a company who hires a thinned skin harpy who answers the phone, then hangs up on customers. Totally unprofessional for losing my building mangers number in the first place, then even worse; hanging up on me, read more
