They listed and sold a piece of property for me in August. It was priced right and sold quickly. Standard 6% commision applied. Found out about an arbitrary made up "Brokers administrative fee" of $375 also applied. My cousin, the sales agent, hadn't mentioned it and him being family, I didn't read the fine print, thought if there was something I needed to know, he'd have told me. One star review for my cousin too. This bumped my commision rate to over 7%, which no one needs to pay. Be leary of a man who feels he deserves more than everyone else in real estate. He does not. No one does. My review is about Kevin Merten, one the the agents at Bill Hansen Realty. I would never use Kevin Merten to buy or sell a property. My comments come from experience as a seller. Kevin withheld information from us about complications with our closing and didn't represent our interests at all. He put his interests in closing the deal ahead of his clients' best interests after a buyer breached a contract. He exhibited questionable representation and poor ability to return calls and communicate. read more
