Tasha was very kind and honest when I asked what she thought a repair like that might cost. She said that she wanted the mechanics to look at the car first before quoting and that evaluations were free. After evaluating the car it was not the timing chain and the expense was much cheaper than expected. Also, the car was inspected bumper to hood for any other problems that may arise in the near future. We are related to two Mechanics. One now retired and the other very busy. This is the only place outside of family we will be taking our vehicles.

I'm not sure what went wrong at the dealership maybe i misunderstood them or they just didn't explain what was going on correctly but in the end everything was straightened out and I'm happy with that. i have an extended warranty with another dealership about two hours from here but I'd be more than happy to continue bringing my truck back here for the (hopefully not needed) work. Once again I appreciate the call and the actual concern. Most dealerships would not go through the trouble of contacting you back to see what they could do to make things right. I went here for an electrical problem. thought no big deal my trucks still under warranty so if anything is wrong it should get billed to warranty. well it turns out my problem was just a fuse, easy fix should've been in and out relatively quick. wrong i was there for an hour and a half. That's not even the part that's the worst, after my hour and a half wait i got charged 126.50 to change a fuse. The service advisor said he had good news and bad news, good news was it was just a fuse bad news they were going to charge me $116 to change at that point it was too late. Why couldn't he have come out earlier and said that and given me the option of getting it fixed there or doing it myself? They even charged me $10.50 for shop supplies. What kind of shop supplies do you need to change a fuse? After all was said and done they still tried to sell me a $300 fuel system cleaning like they didn't just make enough of that 110 dollar fuse. You would think by the looks of this rundown old dealership they're an honest decent place. well think again because they are not i don't know where all the money goes that they make off of those 2 dollar fuses they mark up so much but its not in building upkeep. i will never go back there and i urge anyone else that thinks about going there to look elsewhere.

My review is for the service department…read more Twice in a time crunch Bill Abbott has come to the rescue. First, my check engine light kept turning on and then off at various points and then started stalling out on my drive home for a family get together. I was able to bring my car here at the last minute on a Saturday, have it worked on and fixed within four hours. The service technician even explained the issue to me to the point that I understood what needed to be fixed. Next, over Christmas I was able to bring it in when it sounded as though there was something wrong with the rear suspension of my car. They were able to get the parts and fix it within a few hours and I was completely satisfied with the level of service I received as well as the price. Waiting area isn't the best but they have a TV and some magazines to look through if you choose to wait for your vehicle.

I did tell the service department that I would be traveling across country and needed to make sure that all fluids were full and everything in order. I have a diesel truck which requires DEF. (I DID NOT KNOW THIS AT THE TIME) I took my truck to the dealership rather than a oil change shop to make sure that everything was done appropriately. WELL IT WASNT. While in rout to Colorado going through Kansas at about 3am I got a warning light that my engine was going to cut off and be unable to go over 30 mph as it was low on DEF. So here I was at 3 something in the morning in the middle of nowhere with a engine shutting down to 30 mph!!! I was able to limp into a truck stop and found out it is a liquid that MUST be added with your oil change. My husband called the dealership in Monticello and spoke with the service manager and was basically dismissive and outright said they don't do that (add DEF) unless the customer specifically ask for it. Maybe it's me but when a customer asks specifically for ALL FLUIDS to be changed, checked, Filled... you would do so. At the very least one would think if it is their policy not to full the DEF unless specifically asked for they would ask you .."Do you want your DEF filled?" Especially, because the customer has told you they are going to be traveling across country and it says it needs to be done in the service manual. My husband called and spoke to the Manager at the service department who was very dismissive and basically said what do you want from us? Poor customer service at best! I won't be back and will make sure I tell everyone not to use this dealership for Anything! Wish I could leave negative stars

After an initial bout of miscommunication, the dealer offered to diagnose the issue for free and provide a loaner. As the car was bought as is, this is certainly a good customer service effort. Update: Dealer performed some minor repairs for free. I feel that both issues would be easy to miss as neither occurred on my test drive. While I am not happy about the speedometer, I will say they took steps to make things as right as they could.
