Tasha was very kind and honest when I asked what she thought a repair like that might cost. She said that she wanted the mechanics to look at the car first before quoting and that evaluations were free. After evaluating the car it was not the timing chain and the expense was much cheaper than expected. Also, the car was inspected bumper to hood for any other problems that may arise in the near future. We are related to two Mechanics. One now retired and the other very busy. This is the only place outside of family we will be taking our vehicles.

My review is for the service department…read more Twice in a time crunch Bill Abbott has come to the rescue. First, my check engine light kept turning on and then off at various points and then started stalling out on my drive home for a family get together. I was able to bring my car here at the last minute on a Saturday, have it worked on and fixed within four hours. The service technician even explained the issue to me to the point that I understood what needed to be fixed. Next, over Christmas I was able to bring it in when it sounded as though there was something wrong with the rear suspension of my car. They were able to get the parts and fix it within a few hours and I was completely satisfied with the level of service I received as well as the price. Waiting area isn't the best but they have a TV and some magazines to look through if you choose to wait for your vehicle.

I took my truck in to have FULL service prior to traveling to Colorado from Illinois. I was at the…read moredealership service department literally all day but thought well it takes time. I did tell the service department that I would be traveling across country and needed to make sure that all fluids were full and everything in order. I have a diesel truck which requires DEF. (I DID NOT KNOW THIS AT THE TIME) I took my truck to the dealership rather than a oil change shop to make sure that everything was done appropriately. WELL IT WASNT. While in rout to Colorado going through Kansas at about 3am I got a warning light that my engine was going to cut off and be unable to go over 30 mph as it was low on DEF. So here I was at 3 something in the morning in the middle of nowhere with a engine shutting down to 30 mph!!! I was able to limp into a truck stop and found out it is a liquid that MUST be added with your oil change. My husband called the dealership in Monticello and spoke with the service manager and was basically dismissive and outright said they don't do that (add DEF) unless the customer specifically ask for it. Maybe it's me but when a customer asks specifically for ALL FLUIDS to be changed, checked, Filled... you would do so. At the very least one would think if it is their policy not to full the DEF unless specifically asked for they would ask you .."Do you want your DEF filled?" Especially, because the customer has told you they are going to be traveling across country and it says it needs to be done in the service manual. My husband called and spoke to the Manager at the service department who was very dismissive and basically said what do you want from us? Poor customer service at best! I won't be back and will make sure I tell everyone not to use this dealership for Anything! Wish I could leave negative stars

After an initial bout of miscommunication, the dealer offered to diagnose the issue for free and provide a loaner. As the car was bought as is, this is certainly a good customer service effort. Update: Dealer performed some minor repairs for free. I feel that both issues would be easy to miss as neither occurred on my test drive. While I am not happy about the speedometer, I will say they took steps to make things as right as they could.
