My 3-yeadaughter started this school last month. Honestly, my husband and I could not be any happier with Mrs Leidy, Mrs Lala and their staff. We were a bit scared in the beginning as first time parents and as first time residents of the community we did not know what to expect. A clean and safe environment is very important to us and this place definitely meets our expectations. Aside from that, my daughter has learned so much in so little and we can see the difference. Our son has been attending this school since he was 19 months old and I can honestly say I am very impressed with the philosophy and program . Our son will be turning 4 in January and he knows so much in English and Spanish . It makes us happy to know at drop off he is excited to see his teachers and friends, that is very important to us for that tells us they test our son right and make learning fun . I'm writing this review to warn other parents from Ms. Leidy and this facility. I would suggest you look somewhere else. I've been given wrong information and so many confusing and misunderstandings with in the first week of being with them. First I called to ask for the rates, she tells me one price and we showed up for the tour she tells me another. She actually wrote down a rate with initials on it and she didn't go thru with it. Our drop off time was at 7am and when we took her the first day she mentioned that it was too early. She suggested to leave our baby half day (7am- 12pm) for the first day, which we agreed and the next day she texted me to pick up my child at 12pm again. When I called to confirm she said she told me that the first two weeks were going to be half days. Which she clearly didn't because I had taken the day off the first day to drop her off and pick her up early. So basically that meant I had to pay full time price at the daycare, while she only watched her half day and still pay someone else to watch my baby the rest of the day. She then said that there will be an "evaluation" at the end of the week to see if her program was right for our child. Like what does that mean? That's basically saying "let me see if your child is good for my daycare." She basically put my child through a rough time trying to get adjusted to a new environment and at the end she tells me that she wont be attending her daycare. I would strongly suggest you look somewhere else. read more

They may be good based on the reviews but I had to give 1 star because I was scheduled for a tour around their facility to see if this is the best place for my child but on the day of the appointment there wasn't anybody who answered the door for us. I called their number about 3 times but there was no answer either. No callbacks, no advice that they are away or had to reschedule. And for me that is unprofessional. read more

After searching several Daycare centers around Palmdale, Bilingual Learning Center has everything I was looking for. I enrolled my son when he was about 6 months old, he is now 2. He has learned so much in the daycare, he will be well prepared for pre-k. The staff have always been amazing, daycare is always spotless, they maintain good communication with you. Hello, I have an 18 month old daughter that has been enjoying her days with Leidy since February of 2013. We both love it here!! Angelina gets love, care, education, and is always learning new wonderful things. Leidy provides a daily log where she tells me what my daughter ate, diapering schedules, and educational activities. More importantly I know my daughter is safe, eating healthy, being cared for and loved by all! We love her and would reccomend to all!! read more

My 4 year old daughter has been going here for about 6 months and she loves it! The set up is very nice and the daycare is always so clean! The teachers are also great. They decorate for all the holidays; you can really tell they put effort into the program for the kids. She can sing the days of the week, the months of the years and her numbers in Spanish now too. I have 3 kids attending this day care (ages 10, 5, & 1) and they all love it! It is a very safe, clean, and fun place! They feed them nutritious meals and make playtime a fun learning experience! My one year old started coming here when he was 5 months and he loves all of the staff. They ensure that the kids are always safe and happy! Miss Leidy, and her team of helpers, have created a super fun, educational and safe environment for the children that attend this family day care. It is located in the east side of Palmdale, where finding just a decent day care can be difficult. I had my 4 year old registered in two separate home day cares prior to BLC. The providers at the other day cares were clearly in the field of child care for the money only . Upon being greeted by Leidy in her family day care, I quickly noticed how well organized an clean the facility was as well as the abundance of toys and educational motif. And after interviewing her, I sensed how passionate she is about caring for children and teaching them. I am happy to have had the pleasure to have has her care for my son. We will be leaving California for New Mexico soon, we hope to find equally awesome day care. We will miss the BLC family. read more

I LOVE the Bilingual Learning Center for my Littles. My son went for transportation and my daughter stayed all day. I came across BLC through yelp. I called, made a visit, and was hooked with how clean, organized, and how warm the environment is. They were a heaven sent to me and my two little ones. When my father passed away they were quick to help with transportation as my father was the one who was taking my Littles to and from, since I was working early mornings. I don't know what I would have done without them in our lives. My daughter showed quick progression with her writing at age 4. When she was home would pick up a crayon and practice her letters on her own and get excited once she realized wrote out letters on her own. She was always happy to go and always talked about the activities they had her do from water Wednesdays to their messy days. I love the many interactive activities they did with her and her classmates. She loves Ms. Sarah and Ms. Ashley. I am sad we cannot find another Preschool like the bilingual learning center where we moved. They are truly missed and have left us with a lasting positive experience. As a full-time working mom, leaving my 3 years old son, Zidane in someone else's care every morning is one of the hardest things I have to do. My heart breaks just a little bit more each day, knowing I will miss so many precious moments with my son, while someone else will be there to witness so many of his"firsts". It's a feeling I'm sure I share with so many other moms. Thanks to the teachers and staff at Bilingual Learning Child care, however, I can feel a little bit better about leaving my baby boy every day because I know he is in the hands of caring professionals who cherish him (almost as much as i do) and seem to understand how much I must miss him every day. The teachers, and the owners have been fantastic about keeping me up-to-date on the highlights of our son's days, sharing his funny moments and his latest achievements. And the best part is that i don't always have to wait till the end of the day. They send me texts and photos when they know it's a moment i wouldn't want to miss. I also receive daily writing report at the end of the day. Their messages brighten my day, make me laugh, and help me to feel that even though we're apart, I'm still with my little one somehow. They were my sons second family for over a year. It's time for him to go to big kids school now but they will forever be a part of our family. The fact that my son cried when I told him he couldn't stay there forever and would be starting big kids school soon says alot about them. Ms Leidy is truly a blessing. She loves all her kids and takes care of them like they were her own. I am extremely paranoid when it comes to leaving my son anywhere but with this family I've never felt that not even for a second. Bilingual Learning aka Mrs. Leidy's chilcare is the best of the best. HANDS DOWN! I'm a protective and discerning first-time mom, and I toured at least half a dozen daycares before deciding. It was an easy decision. This childcare center stands out heads above the rest. I even drive a little the other way for it. I know my one-year-old loves it because he smiles on the way up the sidewalk and gets excited to go to "school" and has consistently been thrilled to go since the very first week. My initial phone call was returned immediately with a professional response from the owner herself. Other places took days to get back to me or answered the phone sounding harried and rushed. I was welcomed for a tour right away. Mrs. Leidy took her time with me and answered all my zillion first-time-mom, first-daycare-experience questions! I LOVE that my son is already being exposed to a second language at only age 1. She runs a tight ship - everything is beautiful and clean and well organized, the decor is magazine-worthy, the curriculum is dance and play-based, the children are treated with kindness and respect and fairness and are gently instructed. It's more of a private school than a daycare, in my opinion. I could go on and on. Mrs. Leidy goes way above and beyond ensuring an exemplar environment for the children in her care. I love it that she's a mom of young children herself. Her assistants Miss Sarah, Miss Nancy, Miss Jessica and Miss Naomi are all super sweet girls, always cheerful and polite and nurturing, and clearly carefully chosen. My son is sweetly bonded with all the staff and children. My whole set of expectations about daycare were surpassed coming here. They celebrate each child's (and each helper's) birthday, they have a theme for the month, (bugs or birds or water, etc.) they sit down and have structured lessons and coloring and your child will bring home a hand-made art project with their little handprint for you to treasure forever! You get a little written note each day of what your child did, ate, how many diapers used, etc. If I ever move I can only pray I find another daycare of this quality, but I think it's just a rare gem. read more

Awesome childcare! My 2 kids (18months and 2 years old) love this place. Miss Leidy works with your schedule and she has a lot skills to work with each of my children. Daily reports sent daily on your child s daily routine. Excellent meals are balanced for breakfast and lunch. Super clean and safe environment.
