I reserved bikes over the phone, was sent link to pay and sign waiver, they sent pick of bike numbers and lock code. Drove and parked car there (easy parking access) unlocked bikes and rode away for 4 hours. Rode up and down scenic gulf drive, stopped for ice cream, stopped by our condo, then rode back to rental place and returned bikes, drove to dinner. (You can do 2hrs, 4hrs, 24hrs etc. They also have drop offs). Bikes were new, comfy and ride very easily, nice combo locks included, we got a basket on one of them. Prices were very reasonable!! We will only rent from Runaway Rentals in the future!

1 star only because zero wasn't an option. They were in charge of the chair and umbrella sets of…read moreour stay at Maravilla. In 5 days we were given 5 different stories about how they set up. First we were told that we weren't allowed to book a double set for the week (even though they have allowed this in the past). Then a staff member lied to me saying "We've never done it that way." I told them that I had been staying at Maravilla since 2019 and I knew for a fact they had in the past. Also, we were told they would not reserve spots/sets, only to come out early the following morning to see reserved placards on sets. When we asked about this they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about even though I watched them place two of these. Then the next day when we arrived early (6am) to claim a spot they said we would have to move farther down because spots had already been claimed and a soon as they got umbrellas up we could claim sets with towels or beach toys. Then the next day they told us we had wait until chairs and umbrellas were up and to sit in the chairs until they came by and got our room number (after not asking for this all week). Then after claiming a spot we had another patron tell us we were in their spot and they had claimed it for the week through the company. After a discussion with staff the patron took another set. Not the main person, but his second in command seemed to be on a power trip even though we never spoke a negative word to him, even though we were frustrated. He even had the nerve to tell me that we didn't pay for our double set because we explained that 2 sets were included when we booked our stay. We got out at 6am every morning and had to wait an hour while the setup before anyone acknowledged our presence. In the past they had someone with a clip board who would a least keep up with the order of arrival to maintain first come first service. I found out the 5th day of our visit that I got my set assignment prior to a lady who had been waiting 30 minutes before I got there. The staff didn't seem to care at all about their customers. We were treated as an inconvenience. They kept changing their story. I want to be honest and say I've never had this experience before in my stays at Maravilla. Regardless, someone in management needs to get with this team and have them get there collective crap together.
