I had brought in my Vespa for maintenance; when I got it back and arrived home I noticed a severe…read morefuel leak, which they rightfully repaired free of charge. When collecting my Vespa for the second time, I noticed - on my way back home - that a rubber part was missing from the central stand. I immediately drove back, only to find the shop closed for lunch. Explaining the situation through the closed door - the only possible conclusion was that the part was still at the repair shop - the staff member refused to give me the missing part and advised me to wait on the pavement because they all "had to" eat. I ended up waiting a full hour while the crew had their lunch on the inside. This is Brussels, so I should not be surprised by the lack of customer service, but man, what an attitude they had. I do not recommend Cycles Devos for anything.

My experience here only covers bicycles, I have no idea how the shop acts when it comes to…read moremotorcycles. It's very disappointing. Counter service is slow and poor. I've often had to wait 15 minutes just to make a purchase, because the counter staff was taking repair orders. I went in several times to get small fixes done on a road bike, and each time I was disappointed with the quality if service versus the price. An example was a time when I brought in a bike to have the pedal arm bolt rethreaded. I had been messy and damaged the thread when replacing pedals. With the tight grinding tool, this is a 5 minute job. I made sure to explain exactly what I had done, and what I wanted them to do. When I got the bike back, I found my pedal back in place (I had asked to leave it out) and forced in with an extra washer. My pedal gear is now off axis and out of balance, and the pedal is unremovable up to now. This terrible fix cost me 30€, which I found ridiculous, but somehow accepted at the time. It's a high priced shop, a worse priced repair shop, with unfriendly staff. Not recommended at all.
