Time Out Sports markets itself as Montana's leading specialty running store, so I was interested in seeing what they had to offer. After many marathons across the USA and other places, my latest shoes that I currently race in seemed to be on its last legs. I needed advice on what kind of shoe to get - maybe an upgrade to the current shoe, so that it would be better for me instead of buying the same one, hopefully at an affordable price. Learning that Montana has no sales tax, I would save a few dollars anyway. I arrived here on a brisk Saturday morning, basically right after they opened around 9am. I asked them for advice on what shoes I should need. I wore my 50 states marathon finisher shirt that day, so I guess that was a clue to them that I need good shoes that conform to my feet to run as much as I do. I was shown 3 pairs of shoes, but at the end of the session, I decided on a new brand that I have not used yet. Fingers crossed that it will be good for me and that it will be a good fit - in the long term. The overall experience here at Time Out Sports went pretty well, as I do enjoy going to running stores and checking out the latest shoes for running. I ended up getting a good review about my feet and perhaps this information will serve me well in the years to come. For now though, I did enjoy my time here at Time Out Sports. Can't say I'll be back, as I was visiting from another state (HI), but never say never! Time Out Sports is a small running store but with a lot of heart. It's located at 1595 Grand Avenue on the busy streets of Billings, MT. They accept credit cards, so that was a good thing for me. Since they are in a large shopping complex, parking here is plentiful and you probably could get a space right in front of the shop. Not sure if the Billings public transportation system comes out here, but best bet is to check online and then come here for your new running shoes. For the most part though, Time Out Sports sells pretty much everything and anything you would need for running. Shoes, obviously, and apparel, along with accessories to get you going and moving with your running and fitness goals. The store itself is clean and organized like a specialty running store would be, providing everyone with access to running and running related stuff. If you are new to running and want to get a handle on how to proceed, check the experts out at Time Out Sports. They can evaluate your feet and get you set in good shoes. Whether you are coming into the sport for the first time, getting a handle on your fitness goals, trying for your first 5k, or even popping your first marathon, the staff here at Time Out Sports will help you with your goals. I am happy that I got my new brooks ghost 8 from there. And with Montana not having a sales tax, I saved a little bit of cash too! Thanks to the staff who got me fitted and hope to use that knowledge in my shoe purchases in the future. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. Montana's best specialty running store! Prior to arriving in store I did my research and found two pairs of shoes that might interest me. Upon arriving, we were welcomed and asked if we needed assistance. I immediately asked about the shoes. Later my husband said the Oofos slippahs might help to support my arches when I am not at work. One pair of shoes that I tried on made the ball of my left foot sore. The second pair I tried Hoka One One Gaviota provides the best support for plantar fasciitis which sounded like something I had. Bought the Gaviota and a pair of Oofos slippahs that also help support my arches. This along with stretching makes my feet feel good and I am now on the road to recovery. Hoka One One's are pricey however I see it as investing in myself since I walk 8-10 miles daily for my job. Got what I came for in a relatively reasonable amount of time. I am bummed the physical location in Billings had to close but so glad I can still access it online. The other day I ordered an item online and got a text message within hours from the owner, Kristen, saying she was out of town but could have someone else ship the item right away. And the item arrived within 2 days. Kristen also provided me with a refund for shipping saying that shipping was overcharged. I don't know many business owners who are willing to do something like that. I hope our community will continue to support this business. We need to reinforce people like Kristen who is on top of things and provides quality services.

They talked us into re-dying the furniture because of the condition they were in. What a HUGE mistake. I should have stuck by my guns and just done the cleaning and conditioning. First off, they didn't dye the entire sofa, chair, and ottoman. On the sofa, they dyed the 2 arm rests and 3 seat cushions. They did not dye the 3 back cushions or the frame. On the chair, they dyed the 2 arm rests, the seat cushion and the back cushion. They didn't dye the frame. The ottoman wasn't dyed at all. The dye was similar in color to the original but there was a definite difference, which I guess should be expected. But to not dye the entirety of the set was a mistake. I've had mismatched furniture ever since. Another reviewer mentioned a "plastic" look to the dye. I can say this is absolutely true. It doesn't look like leather anymore but instead looks fake. The repaired rips are still holding strong but apparently whatever chemicals they used on the furniture, whether it be the cleaner, conditioner, or dye, is now eating away at my leather and there are rips and holes in places there weren't before. My sofa is completely ruined and looks like crap now. I'm either going to have to look into having the leather completely replaced or throw it out and get new furniture, neither of which will be cheap. I'm glad other reviewers have had good experiences but I honestly cannot say my results were anything other than disastrous.
