I've heard great things about big rig. After driving past for months finally decided to stop in. 2 carne asada tacos and horchata. We took a sip of horchata and it tasted like onions. Our faces def had the WTF face after our first sips. The meat was great quality (this is why I'm giving 4 stars), BUT it has zero flavor. It was the blandest taco I have ever been served. I'm not sure if we stopped in on an off day or if the meat really just always has no flavor. The sautéed onions were honest the best part. They were so tender and flavorful. The hot sauce didn't even make the taco taste better, but those onions did. I regret not putting them on from my first bite. read more

Stopped in by chance just passing bcus my daughter wanted to purchase a water and this was the first place we saw after she requested water. Decided to order tacos and they were absolutely delicious. We had the carne asada and it was so flavorful. We ordered as a take out order but the presentation was very neat and colorful with garnishes of red pepper, lime and radish. My fiancé and I just got done eating, and I must say these were some pretty tasty tacos! This was my first time ordering from here (and ordering from a food truck!), and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered three Al Pastor tacos, and my fiancé ordered carne asada, barbacoa, al pastor, and chicken tacos. All were prepared quickly and packed up tightly. The al pastor tacos were marinated nicely, and there were some pineapple chunks stirred in with the meat. Nothing was greasy or over cooked, and the tortillas held their own! Each one was topped with onions and cilantro, and the inside of the box was garnished with grilled onions and red radishes. You also get red and green salsa, which are spicy, but add a nice touch to your tacos. The green is a blend of jalapeño and I think avocado, so that one is less spicy. If you're wondering if you get plenty of meat, you do! The price of each taco varies around $2.00 each, which is not bad at all!! Overall, I highly recommend checking out this new food truck, and it has a small and simply menu. Besides tacos, you can also get burritos, tortas, sopas, ceviche, nachos, and cheeseburger and fries (I'm not sure why anyone would show up to a taco truck and ask for a burger, but the option is there). What a delightful surprise I must have passed this truck hundreds of times never stopped until today, as a co worker said did you ever try that taco truck on Mannheim Road across from White Castle. She said you have to try it. Today I took her up on her suggestion and I'm so happy I did! I got 3 tacos total, 2 steak and 1 al pastor.  I was greeted by a friendly lady who took my order. Waited 5 to 7 minutes. First off presentation was spot-on better than most restaurants are willing to do!  Opened up the container and was delighted to see some sliced radishes cilantro and onions and surprisingly some grilled onions as well with 1/2 grilled jalapeno pepper. Such a nice added touch. Meat portion size was very respectable. Steak taco meat was tender no fat or gristle and seasoned perfect  Al pastor meat was perfect all tender well seasoned pork and no fat or gristle . Came with tasty green and red salsa. I will definitely be back. Prices are more than reasonable. read more

I was denied salsa....she lied to me and said they didn't have any to go, after I watched her give red & green to someone else. I paid $12 for 3 tacos and $10 for a burrito, then I was shooed away when I asked for salsa. If you have never tried their food, stop what you are doing and GO! By far the best Mexican food we've ever tried. This is for sure our go to place. We have ordered trays of meat for parties and the owner is super nice. I love this taco truck so much, had them come out to my kid's birthday party! They come out with the truck or do taquizas. The fish tacos are my favorite! This is a must stop at least once a week for me. The fish tacos come with a chipotle sauce, very tasty and not spicy. I love radishes on my tacos, only place that has them on there. Some days they also give you grilled jalapenos, watch out they're spicy. My hubby love the tacos de asada. Keep in mind the tortillas are not the tiny ones, like most taco places. They are also not greasy, like most Mexican restaurants. You can always follow them on FB to know if they're at their spot on Mannheim. Usually there from 1pm-9pm unless they have a party or run our of meat. Give them a try, you won't regret it! read more

I'm a fan of al pastor and had to order that along w steak tacos and a small horchata. It was exactly what I was looking for. So Much Flavor! Cash only, but don't let that scare you...there's a gas station next door w an atm if need be. All in all it was amazing and prices were very reasonable and comparable.
