As I the I heard two females who was using very foul language at the register, and I took notice she was an employee as well as the other female. . The one employee was actually sitting on the counter where the bags are located while the other employee was standing next to the door and they were apparently having a very personal discussion. As I register, the young lady with the foul mouth never even took notice or found it to be a concern that she was behaving such an unprofessional manner. When the other employee decided that she was going to up my order, she had to ask the unprofessional employee to get up so that she could bag the items I was purchasing this unprofessional and puffed like a toddler and proceeded to sit on the floor at the register. If you are looking to get a good price on an item such as dog treats and you do not care about professionalism or if you have a young child with you and you are not concerned about them hearing foul language the rabbits Ollie is the place for you to shop. .

They came out of the dryer twisted. It's hard to hang a twisted towel on a towel bar in the bathroom. What's up with all the African art? I was looking for anything that wasn't African and animal jungle print to hang something on a spot on my wall. I couldn't find anything. Christmas season is their absolute best for they carry products that no other has in stock. Their panties aren't good quality. I have always been able to find summer sandals there at a fraction of the cost that I can only find them online elsewhere. Great cashiers, friendly and although sometimes the wait is a bit longer than expected it is still an alright experience if not really looking to do a major shopping job. It has it's perks as well as draw backs.

The smell was so good I genuinely checked to see if there was a bakery hidden behind the hand dryers. Spoiler: there wasn't--just toilets, a mop bucket, and broken dreams. My nose was thrilled, but my heart was betrayed. Meanwhile, a single fly kept landing on my foot like it was trying to comfort me through the emotional rollercoaster. And the sink water? Hot enough to cook an actual pie. Honestly, I came out clean, confused, and craving dessert. Three stars: mostly for the smell, partially for the existential crisis.

Needless to say, I didn't swipe my credit card. I went inside the BP station and spoke with cashier Marcie. I told her of the open card reader doors and was advised that management was aware of the problem. She also said that a repair order was made a week ago. Buyer beware at this gas station. I was in town for work and had to return a watch that did not work that I purchased from a…read moredifferent Belk store so thought it would be easy to take care of this errand while in town. I walked in and......crickets........it was like a ghost town. There was music playing overhead and the lights were on, doors unlocked, so it has to be open, right?? I walked around for about 5 minutes, clearing my throat, saying "hello?" in all the departments...and this is a small store so it wasn't that difficult. FINALLY a lady came out from the back in the shoe department and I asked her if she could help me with a return in jewelry. She said yes but then kept looking over and around for someone in jewelry. I told her it was like Night of the Comet, there is no one anywhere. She didn't think it was funny. I handed her the receipt and she snapped, "where is the receipt?" Yikes! She then started telling me she didn't see the barcode so I started sweating it until thankfully, it was on the bottom of the watch box. Now, normally, I take full advantage of a return by buying something else. 1. The watching was a Betsy Johnson watch and the lady in shoes didn't know who Betsy Johnson was. They did not have any Betsy Johnston in jewelry nor anything I would want in it's place. I guess all Belk stores are VERY different. 2. I was sort of afraid to continue going through the store as desserted as it was to stroll and see if there was something else I wanted to buy. It takes a lot to get me to not shop...just sayin. 3. The lady that took my return was probably the one who would check me out and honestly, I didn't have time to find her again, nor sweat whether or not I was going to be allowed to make a purchase. Come on Roanoke Rapids Belk....get it together. You don't have a lot of shopping options. It's a shame that someone can't feel comfy in Belk.
