Big Lots is one of those discount style stores that I frequent often to find cheap and interesting items! They usually have a decent selection of items with the same brands as big box stores. I like being a rewards member for coupons too. In my early twenties, I owned several furniture items. And even now, they carry really nice living room furniture. I usual always have good service in the Muskogee location. read more

I recently visited the Biglots store #1060 in Muskogee, Ok. July of 2024. To begin the store itself is filthy and in need of repairs. No Air Conditioning on in the entire store for customers or for there employees. But they do have a couple of industry fans blowing on the sales floor around the back. Doesn't help much with hot weather. FYI stay clear of musty and moldy smelling areas where spores can be especially where missing ceiling panels are throughout the sales floor. some missing ceiling panels have wires hanging out of them. The floors are filthy . The shelves in food and chemicals are filthy. The fronts doors that lead into the store are disgusting. It looks like the windows have never been cleaned. I don't know how they can call there bathrooms sanitary when they have mold, urine and old feces around the toliets. There is even a stall with the toliet set falling half off. They don't fill there soap dispenser or towel dispenser. There are tremendous safety issues regarding the receiving of there freight. Bent and broken equipment, no safety rails on lift etc. A lot of food is spoiled, out of date and put on the shelves without being cleaned off. They also need to put current prices on the products they are trying to sell. And clean up the floors around all there product merchandise areas. There is also concern for the area around cashier. Safety concerns of tripping, falling and no quick exits for workers to leave (one end is completely blocked off) in case of emergency or quick ability for back up cashiers to get in to assist. Broken products are marked down in price. Some of these marked down items are out of date and some mark downs have broken glass and or sharp edges were broken. Beware. Management and staff are pushy. Sometimes they are short and aggressive on making sure you have a Biglots rewards card, almost to the point of harassment. read more

Let me tell you if I could give this place a negative rating as in -5 stars I would definitely do that they have the worst customer service it has always been this way but today I had an extremely terrible experience there were three of us ladies in the area with what was left of the patio furniture and decorations struggling with information on the furniture that was in boxes and if there were more of this thing or that thing and they had to call three different people over there to help us and then one of us asked about the chairs in the box and she said whatever you see in the photo is what it is and I said this is a black outline so I'm curious about the color what color is the the fabric is it resin is it plastic as it would what is it and she just said I don't know just have to read the box wow then two of us ladies started trying to put the lounge chairs in our cart I myself was struggling to put four chairs in my cart as for employees stood there watching me struggle dropping them on my feet trying to get them to stand up in the cart and nothing no one asked if they could help me they didn't act like they even wanted to look at my Direction in case I was asking for help and let me tell you I was so mad yes I purchased the furniture because I needed it and it was a good price but I will drive to another town before I ever step foot in the store again read more
