Excellent customer service from Grace (specifically). From the moment we walked in until the time…read morewe left, she demonstrated the kind of hospitality that feels like a lost art. I call it the industry standard; attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great experience. When we stopped in for lunch, there was only one other diner in the restaurant, but don't let that fool you. If you're in the area, this spot is worth a visit. Chat & Choo offers an interesting American-Thai fusion menu that combines familiar comfort foods with unique twists. One surprise favorite for me was the spinach and mozzarella spring rolls. I didn't realize I needed those in my life, but they were absolutely delicious. Such simple ingredients, yet they worked perfectly together. I ordered the Pad Thai, which was very good. My friend went with the breakfast steak, eggs, and grits, along with a colossal-sized pancake. He couldn't stop talking about how much he enjoyed his meal. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Even if the food had been average, Grace's professionalism and warmth would have made the visit memorable. Too many restaurants overlook the importance of greeting guests properly, checking on them throughout their meal, and making them feel appreciated when they leave. Grace did all of those things effortlessly. I had never heard of Chat & Choo before this visit, but I'll definitely be returning with friends. Great service creates loyal customers, and that's exactly what happened here.

The service and staff are fantastic. I have a gluten intolerance so they are very good at accommodating for food restrictions. The train does drive-by, and there's a brief moment where they train horn blows and it's relatively loud, but the building itself is well insulated. So it doesn't disturb your meeting.

Since moving to Killeen I have not had Waffle House (which is so depressing). But last night on the…read moreway back from visiting North Carolina, we made a pit stop. Even with having only 20% of my stomach, I still had fat girl eyes! I wanted everything. It was early in the morning so they weren't too busy. The servers were very nice and patient with me. It's always cold in Waffle House but it was clean and very quaint. I WANT ANOTHER WAFFLE! I ordered the waffle with sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast. You gotta add the onions and cheese. The flavor is just amazing. I split everything with my girlfriend and was full and highly satisfied with my order. The waffle was even good without the syrup. It was perfect!

They don't want you if you're a single guest…read more I entered the store in Villa Rica, Ga and was met by a greeter. At the time there were no available tables but some were empty and needed cleaning. I was also the only person in line for a table and waited approximately 10 minutes until one of the three empty, yet not cleared, tables became available. There was no room at the front bar as all of the seats were occupied. I was brought to the first empty booth and waited again, seated at a four top, for an undetermined time. My server never greeted me nor came to the table. I was a solo guest and apparently in violation of "WF seating policy". The greeter approached me and told me I had to move because only larger parties were allowed to sit at the booths - never mind that he was the one that sat me there (!) He pointed me at a low rise table that, locationally, was vastly undesirable. It wasn't the front bar seating, but one located on a corner in line with the server access. The seats were the rickety wood ones you'd find in places that didn't actually want you to sit there very long. I do not understand WF policy. Presumably, it's to serve larger parties, at least that's what I was told at the store. Undoubtably it's about tips. If you're traveling and don't want to be publicly humiliated, down the road is a Hardee's that's pretty competent. Half the store was looking at me when this occurred. I cannot express how humiliating this was to experience. Consider that, as I write this message in the WF parking lot, there's still one table empty in that store. How is this good customer policy? It is not.
