For a price that usually only buys a simple sandwich combo elsewhere, you get an absolute feast. Food Breakdown * The Meats: The platter comes stacked with a juicy smoked sausage link, a tender slab of ribs with excellent bark, a deeply flavorful piece of chicken, and a perfectly assembled BBQ brisket slider. * The Sides: The classic, creamy baked mac and cheese is topped with a rich dusting of seasoning, and it pairs perfectly with a massive, golden-brown slice of sweet cornbread. * The Extras: The deep-fried Cue balls are a stellar crispy addition, giving an incredible texture contrast to the rest of the meal. Recommend these tasty little treats. The Vibe & Verdict Everything looks beautifully smoked, seasoned to perfection, and served in an authentic, no-nonsense bar atmosphere. Finding this quality of slow-smoked barbecue alongside an entire lineup of scratch-made sides for $20 is a total steal. If you are looking for top-tier comfort food that will completely fill you up without breaking the bank, this spot is a mandatory visit. Only thing is I wish food was a little more moist and they had TVs to watch some sports. Other than that, hands down most bang for your buck at this BBQ Joint! Oh, and they offer a military discount and the servers are extremely attentive of your every need!

The parking is atrocious, so you may want to call your food in & park at a pump to pick it up so that you don't get blocked in. The meals come with a bottled drink of your choice. The staff were kind of friendly & wore masks. The food...that is another story. We didn't call our order in, so we walked up to order and waited. We got the following: Fried pork chops: 3 (They were overcooked & had a weird taste to them like they were going bad prior to cooking. After the first bite, I didn't eat anymore.) Fried chicken wingettes: 2 (They were pretty fresh, BUT they were extremely salty! I couldn't even finish the one drummette I started.) Candied yams: 3 (They were pretty good. Not too sweet. Not bland. They were the best thing I tasted today from them.) Collard greens: 2 (Bland & undercooked. They are very crunchy & dry. There is literally no juice in this box with them. Never had collards like this before.) Shrimp: 1 (This is the main thing I came for. They were medium sized & fried. The problem is that they were overcooked & were rubbery. I gave them to the dog.) Mac n cheese: 3 (It needed more seasoning. Maybe they could've put some of the salt from the chicken into this. It would've been perfect!) They have a HUGE menu to choose from which may be their issue. They need to focus on what they are really good at (shorten that menu) & perfect that, giving quality food to their customers. This food wasn't worth what was paid for it. We should've gone elsewhere. Lesson learned.

They do have a food truck, but they also have a building where you can go in order your food. You can order it in advance and pick up or you can order it and wait inside. This is not a eat in establishment. It is a to go establishment at the time that I was there. They had no tables or chairs to sit only a place to wait. The food was delicious and made fresh.

They were parked outside the main entrance and arrived about 15 minutes late. That was understandable, as they were here during rush hour. They were supposed to arrive at 4 p.m. We went down about 15 minutes early. Some people were standing around in the lobby, which turned into a disorganized line of sorts. I somehow managed to get in line first. Our building social director gave the first 30 people to arrive coupons to save $10. Can't complain about that! Once the truck arrived, they hit the road running. They did all their prep work in advance, so the food came out quickly. I ordered two Connecticut lobster rolls, one lobster bisque, and one clam chowder. We got plastic forks and spoons, plenty of napkins, and four small packets of oyster crackers. As for how the food was---We both liked our starters. I had the lobster bisque. The bisque had a silky texture and a generous amount of lobster. I liked that it didn't have any sherry. My husband liked his clam chowder. It was full of cubed potatoes and clam pieces and was very filling. While he is not a fan of lobster, he really enjoyed it. The lobster rolls were good. They used New England style rolls, which we always appreciate. Our only complaint is that the rolls needed more butter as they were on the dry side. Otherwise, the lobster portion was generous and cooked properly. All in all, it didn't disappoint. While it wasn't cheap, it was worth splurging. If they ever come by again, we'll be in line!
