I don't understand how anyone could give this place a good review. I went there ONCE, and never again. I question the validity of the Good reviews I read. Cause either you've never had a good burger, or someone paid you to give it. Cause it's no way we both could have ate the same food. 1. Food (burger)was VERY OVERCOOKED. Dry. 2. They try and compensate by Loading tons of Lettuce, tomatoes, onions on these very thin (DRY) burgers, and fries (which or also overcooked). 3. Way over priced for the portion. Ordered fish n chips for 1st time. The choices were cod with three massive pieces (touche, Ivars), and "fish" at 3 pieces for an updated price of $15 . "Fish" was something less than cod, so go figure. All was fine and acceptable for a meal. However, later, the effects of unchanged cooking oil caught up, and I regretted the buy. Burgers are always great and recently tried the premium cod which was solid! Staff is always super friendly

My only complaint is the price, although I know everything is more expensive these days. Fries are crispy yet still retain a soft center. Burger might be a bit overdone but that seems normal except at a better restaurant where you can request how you want it cooked. Was suppose to open at 10am and we got there at 11am and it was closed. Finally unlocked doors but we had to ask if they were open or not. Had to wait until they were ready to take orders. Placed order for a grilled chicken salad and paid with credit card adding a $2+ tip. Next person went to order and was told the internet was down so my card transaction didn't go thru. Paid with cash and again left a $2 tip in the tip jar. Waited quite awhile for our food and the other three got their's and I was handed a burger. I said I had ordered a grilled chicken salad and he said I had ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. He said it would be more for the salad, so I said I would take the sandwich because I didn't have the additional cash. My friend said to keep the sandwich to take home to my husband and ordered the salad and paid for it herself. We took our time talking and they took their time eating but my salad still wasn't ready. We were ready to leave when the salad was delivered so I took it home too. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Late opening, cash only, cost too much, poor service, wrong order, slow service. We had a HS football game out that way, so checked out Big Daddy's- WOW! This place was amazing and can definitely compete with burger places in the bigger cities. Add to the bomb burgers their 5 star customer service; the young man taking our order was really funny and very professional, the man who brought the food out was literally running out of the kitchen (ok, like fast walking) to make sure we got our food hot, and then, as we ate, someone came around to check if we needed anything. We stumbled in on a Thursday afternoon hankering for a good burger - and we were not disappointed! It was our first time here and per Yelp's recommendations for burger joints nearby, we headed in. There was only 1 other patron, and the gal working the front counter appeared to be enjoying her mid-shift lunch, but promptly stopped to greet us and take our order. She was knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. The only thing that subtracted from this experience is that they have 2 burger size options on some of their burgers, and they dont ask which size you want, - it seems they pre-default to the more expensive option unless you specify ahead of time. I also found it off putting that there is a big sign on the soda machine that says "no refills on shared drinks"... sure, this may save them a couple of dollars but it makes the owner look like a cheap-o. (We didnt share a drink, but this did strike me as odd). Overall, the burgers were fresh and juicy, the menu was huge and catered to every appetite, the fries were fresh and crispy, the establishment was clean, and the staff was nice. We will likely return when the cheeseburger cravings rear their ugly heads yet again ;-) read more

Love this place! When i was a child growing up in Auburn i used to go here a LOT. And i would go to the Friday car shows. Then when it closed i was sad. YEARS later, and adult now, i moved to Graham, and seen that Big Daddy's was now here!?!?! Could it be? Yes! And the food is spectacular! I am not joking, it is better than i remember! They never mess up my order, and the food is ALWAYS fresh! I have tried the Cod and chips, The super cruz, teriyaki burger, chicken strips, and fries. And Not a single time was it not perfect. If you like old diner food, this is the place for you! I wouldn't call this fast food. It's WAY too good.
