The employees either are unhelpful or rude. I have been told by a friend of mine who's knows the owner that it's a great store, but it has been consistently a bad experience for me. As an example, today the wife and I went there to look at pricing for glass aquarium covers, the employee didn't even bother to show us what they had in stock to see if they even carried what we needed. We where told to go home and measure despite already having an idea of what we where going to need. The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of one is we bought a couple shubumkins from them and they are doing well. So in conclusion I suggest taking your business elsewhere.

The owner is amazingly helpful, and has come to my house to help me set up a filter I had bought. You cant get better service than that. The fish are shipped in and quarantined, and their fish room manager is the most knowledgeable guy in the business (in my opinion). He used to work at a different pet store, but I followed him when he moved because he is a cichlid genius. The staff are always friendly, and I'm under the impression that it is family owned and operated, and I always like to support local family business. The quality of product, fish, coral and inverts is above and beyond any other London petstore. 5 stars.

I could've set a banana on my counter and got that for free. I call and speak to management - she says it's bc of the temperature ?? And when they're "too hot in the reptile room they grow wings and fly some of them". Like huh?? SoI try to explain I'm very experienced here - I'm retired but used to be very big in the reptile industry and bred thousands of my own fruit flies - and said I'm sorry but you're wrong. flightless HYdei HAVE wings and are genetically predisposed to not flying. It's a GENE. I told her yours are tainted with regular flying fruit Flies. Her answer - I'm not going to argue with you, you can just give them back. Then she repeats the same answer of why I have "some" flying around. They're ALL flying. I explained the gas would be more to drive there and return them, that I was now more concerned over the bad info she was pushing considering. She repeated the same untrue info on flightless fruit fly genetics. ?? Then she kept adding I'm not going to argue. My only concern for posting this is - what else do these workers push as qualified knowledgeable info to customers that is completely wrong?? It's a simple product and issue but her info on this is incorrect. I ran a hot professional breeding facility for 18 years. I breed fruit flies like crazy. I'm concerned that employees there are acting like they know when they don't and it'll hurt customers looking

From the moment I went in, the place was packed with children, i love kids i really do but, when…read moreparents aren't controlling them or the staff isn't nicely asking them to stop putting their hands in the tanks, i've had enough. I went in to buy some tropical fish to up my tank with some tetras and octos - the little sucky fish. After about 20 mins in the store, and chasing staff down for help, I was met with a staff member that thought he knew everything. He was asking for information about the tank like when I had bought it, when it was filled, how long the other fish had been in there, etc. He then told me that i should wait months before adding more fish???? I have owned fish for most of my life and now that I have moved into a place I'm going to be for awhile, I decided to restock the tank I own. Anywho, staff is filled with a bunch of know-it-alls who really don't know anything about the fish. I honestly feel like they are allergic to selling fish. I would recommend running to the pet smart down the street where they are very knowledgeable and super friendly when selling fish.

I left many good reviews and have been a very pleasant and understanding customer. They get every order wrong, or send the wrong sex of fish, or send sick livestock that dies within a few days. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt because they are a small business but they are very sneaky shady people. They also respond to each negative google review (they'd delete those too if they could) with snarky comments. Seems like a bunch of moody teenagers running the place! No one cares if you're a mom and pop store, do better. Go to big als people its not worth the drive to guelph ( I wouldn't return if it was next door).

Horrible service and do not use!!! They bait and switch. I called and told them I have a mini…read morebernadoodle (27.7lbs) and need her to get a bath. They said on the phone it was $48. I booked an appointment for later in the day (now no time to go elsewhere) and brought my dog in. They then say "oh no it's $75 for a bath (I pay $95 for a full groom)! The girl said "don't worry I will talk to my manager" and before doing that dropped the price to $69. When I went to pick her up the manager said no the original price given when you dropped her off is appropriate. I indicated my dissatisfaction with the service and price and asked to pay the $48 I was originally told. The manager "Jess" said "that would be theft of service and you will be charged"!!! Jess was arrogant, and very dismissive. I can't see myself ever using any service from Petsmart (London south Wonderland location) and likely not any location. I have spent thousands with Petsmart over the years and have never felt so misled or offended
