Tony Coffey is an exceptional business owner. He not only explains everything to you so that you will understand, he reeks of knowledge and experience. It is very obvious too, that he is well respected with his crew of roofers. I have always heard said, "a product will be delivered to the degree in which the crew likes their boss". So with that I must say, "this crew clearly loves Tony" They were all very well dressed, no loud music, they cleaned our yards and street up after installation and very polite. My wife posted (I'm not sure where, maybe Facebook?) and 2 companies responded pretty quickly. The first company came out and looked at it and suggested a course of action, then Jeff from Houser came out and suggested a different course (more thorough and more expensive). He walked me through his thinking and what he recommended made more sense. He was professional and courteous (and didn't mind questions). On Tuesday, his crew came out and performed what was a reasonably extensive repair quickly and expertly. It turns out the repair the first company recommended would not have actually solved the problem (turns out there were leaks originating from multiple locations). We've had several big rains since, and the problem is, indeed solved. Kudos to Jeff and crew - job well done!

I contracted Houser Roofing several times. They installed gutters, they changed a vent and they…read moreattempted to fix a leak. The gutters installation went Ok. I had to remind them to install the guard I paid for, but fine. The gutters match exactly the color of my exterior walls, and Houser Roofing provided good advice. So far, so good. The vent installation went fine, except they had to come back to install the duct correctly (the first installation was a bit of a fire hazard). But fine, they were graceful about it. The big disaster has been fixing a roof leak. The salesman came up with wild theories about the source. all wrong. It cost me thousands of dollars, with zero results. They came several times, and the last time, they said it was a plumbing issue. A plumber came and disagreed. So this leak has cost me a small fortune over 3-4 years. Finally, I called a local roof company. They found the source of the leak in 5 minutes. I don't want to be too harsh here. Roofing is not an exact science. I talked to the owner, and I don't feel he was there to scam me. It's more incompetence than malfaisance. I seem to be the only one with this experience.

It took five phone calls to finally get them to come out to change my filter. (I'm 88 years old & the filter is about ten feet up!). On two of the 5 calls I made they scheduled a definite appointment to come. They were a NO-SHOW both appointment times. I had previously signed a maintenance contract that covered two visits. The day I signed the contract used my first visit. When they finally came out after 5 calls and two no-shows the tech installed the filter within ten minutes and left. They did not honor my prepaid visit. They charged me $218.25 including the installed filter plus he left one for next time. That cost is outrageous by any standards! There will not be a next time with this company!!! I have more serious complaints but it takes so much space to type them!!
