I can't judge the food all that much since I only ordered a weisswurst and pretzel but it seemed okay. Compared to some other places, the prices were quite reasonable. It gets crowded but you can often find a spot at the bar. If you want to sit in the beer garden, you can swing by the main restaurant to get pretzels. The beer is light, crisp and refreshing. Everything from a solid built lager to even meade. The selection will not disappoint. The bar staff is quite friendly and incredibly helpful in weighing your options. For the beer on tap, they are happy to provide a sample to help sway you one way or another. Again, the bar itself is quite small on the inside with a few small tables. There is an outside seating area as well, but it is really not an option during the colder months. Overall, a solid choice to stop for a beverage. Looking forward to my next stop.

The tour was fun (and in English). The food was traditional German and very good (especially dessert). And the beer was better than average. I'm definitely adding this to my list of must visits. The only unfortunate thing though is that it's cash only...and given the price of some of the beers, it can get pricey real fast. Oh! We ended up trying a couple of local favorite items: traditional mushroom and ham tartes flambees along with a salmon tartes! Both were delicious and worked well with Alsac wines!
