The food is not as Irish as you would usually expect it to be, but it's still delicious and they offer weekly specials from all around the world (in addition to their normal pub grub). You can drink a variety of beers, but the cider is what get'a me every time! I'm not a big drinker but even I know that the variety of whisk(e)y they offer is far more than what your normal pub next door has. All in all a great place to spend your nights and have a chat with a random stranger. The staff is also very willing to strike up a conversation, so you won't be all on your own (if you didn't bring friends in the first place that is) I'll be sure to come back soon!

Not only do they still offer their normal food (which is fantastic) - Fish 'n Chips, Big Matt Sandwiches, Burgers, and lots of other yummy stuff - they now offer a DIY-Burger-Menu! This means you get to build your own burger! You can choose between different patties, sauces, toppings and sides - you could even build yourself a Hawaiian Chicken Burger with a fried egg on top...if you would ever consider something as gross as that ;) Just saying...you could! Shake it, shake it, baby!…read more One of the best places if you had enough of all the beer-serving pubs and breweries and beer gardens around town - they serve fantastic cocktails here! I usually don't like cocktails with alcohol, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the menu and there were two pages full of non-alcoholic but not less awesome sounding cocktails! They serve everything from the classics to more exotic drinks, cocktails, longdrinks, flips (egg in a drink? Seriously, this is so disgusting!!) and many more... Our waitress was absolutely friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and thankfully it's not as loud and crowded as in other places around town! Oh and you always get crisps to munch on while waiting for your cocktails! And all that for decent prices!
