Bienville is not worth the prices they are asking,especially for bass fishing. You can fish centeral Florida for half the price and catch a much better quality of fish. read more

The fishing experience at Bienville Outdoors leaves much to be desired. I spent 3days and 4 nights at the lodge, staying in one of their cabins. the cabins were clean and quite nice. The food was generally good but breakfast was a cold bacon & egg biscuit sandwich delivered to the cabin the day beforehand. We were expected to heat these up in the microwave in the am before fishing. The fishing itself was a big disappointment. First of all, the guide we were assigned showed up in the worst guide owned fishing boat I have ever seen. Seats were torn, the motor would not run above idle speed, the depth finder was broken, etc. In addition, the guide had not been on the lakes in years. The fishing itself was quite poor. This place is advertised as a "big fish factory". It's anything but. We caught no fish over 2 lbs and the majority were considerably less than that. Save your money. This is a very expensive trip which is definitely not worth the money. read more

I'm a new employee here at Bienville. I'm retired military and have lived all over the country and world. There is nothing like this place. It is beautiful and every day our fishing guides take guests out on one of our 14 lakes and come back with stories of catching 40, 50 even a hundred fish. I'm truly blessed to work here. read more

This place gets 5 stars for the quality of bass fishing! I wish I could swing the membership a mere $1750 per year which allows access to Lake # 14. If you want access to Hooker Bay, Purvis and others I think they are an additional charge of $500. There's nowhere else you can go in the state of Florida to have the kind of day I had yesterday on a consistent basis. I've fished many of the lakes there, and my most ,memorable day was at Hooker Bay. read more

I went to Bienville last weekend in the heat of the summer to go bass fishing. I went with a group of guys that for the most part we're qualified bass fishermen. Adam who is the owner happened to be there and was very attentive and made sure we all had a great time. He would constantly ask us our opinions about the service, the food, the lodging and the guides to see if there was anything he could do to make sure we all were having a great time. The food we had while we were there was exceptional and fresh and hot. Tim who basically runs the pro shop there was very helpful and considerate to all of our needs. The lodge or cabin we stayed in was very nice. Each place can hold up to 10 people very comfortably so bring your large groups for a great time on the lakes. The guides made it their priority to make sure that we had a great time both in and off the lakes. You will never be able to fish every lake and body of water out there. We caught lots of fish in every place we went to and we're never disappointed. I would strongly recommend this for a quick get away for friends family or businesses to enjoy the great outdoors. We say wildlife galore, deer, wild turkeys, Ospreys and plenty of the Florida lizards (alligators). When you can go somewhere and catch the quality and quantity of fish we did in the middle of summer that shows slot for this place. I was asked to do a fishing show for Outdoor Addiction TV. I met the fishery manager Jeff Blanton and we started fishing early am top water. I can't remember the name of the pond but it was special!! We caught and released over 100 fish in a 2 hour filming. I won't say every cast but it was close with us doubling up a lot for an action packed show. We went back and had lunch and Jeff showed me the property. Amazing the amount of fishing and wildlife on this property. We went back to the same pond that afternoon for a jigging show. The bank was deep sided and covered in a mat of Lilly pads. A heavy bullet weight and a plastic crawfish was thrown 20' up to penetrate the pads maybe 10' away from us, took a minute to get it down but once I did OMG!! We caught far fewer fish, maybe 20, but they were all 8-12lbs averaging 10lbs!! My hands have never been that raw with "bass mouth thumb"!! Hands down the best fishing I have EVER done!! I only fished one pond, they have memberships for several other ponds but I think this was a guided only pond, and I saw why!! Guided trips can be set up with lodging and food. They are not cheap but I will never forget my day at Bienville!! read more
