They were able to communicate with me and were willing to take phone calls and emails at odd hours of the day or night. Because my job is incredibly demanding and I don't have much discretionary time to waste, Harvey and Laine made everything convenient for me and advocated for my privacy and time. Harvey didn't let me sign any documents without specifically explaining everything, which was so important to me as a first time homeowner. He and Laine had to work especially hard due to the ineptitude of the other attorney, and did so with such grace. I couldn't have asked for a better team, and I hope to work with them again in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks, Harvey and Laine!

Need an attorney? Nah, not that kind of an attorney; the kind of attorney that attends to your…read morehouse closing and does it in the most professional, buttoned up way. Then look no further than Tom Anselmo at Anselmo, Lindberg and Associates. I've done several house sales in other states and and oftentimes didn't use an attorney. But given Illinois is such a litigious state, it seems the 2nd person after a realtor anyone calls is an attorney. So when in Rome. . . . anyway- you get the picture. Tom and his firm came highly recommended and I can see why. He and his colleague Kathy took great care of me and kept me informed of the process at every step. They were also good to remind me of what needed to be done when, and filled out all those pesky forms and letters that needed to go back and forth to the buyers and their lawyers. Now while my first choice is always just to talk with the buyers directly, as go betweens, they did a great job in suggesting which requests we should move on and which ones probably didn't need to happen (in conjunction with my realtor) and also kept the timeline real so that nothing was missed and the house closed quickly and efficiently. And at the end of the day, the price was reasonable for the services rendered (we are talking about lawyers, you know!) So if you find yourself in need of a Real Estate attorney who puts your needs at the top of his list and makes you feel like a valued client, look no further than Tom Anselmo!

Mr. Benedetto got this important task done easily and quickly. Right away, he had some creative ideas that I would not have thought of, and that I believe most lawyers would not have thought of. These creative ideas led to a very good settlement for me, whereas less creative thinking would have probably left me with very little. He was knowledgeable throughout and struck a good balance between consulting me as to what I wished done, but advising me on what would be best. I never felt he forced my hand, but still, he had a way of easing me into what would be most in my interest for me to do. I would say he is a peacemaker at heart, which is not what one expects from a lawyer. But I feel it is the best approach in family law cases, and in my case led to settlement. The opposing lawyer was always trying to fight, and to escalate situations that were already anger provoking. Mr. Benedetto had a great way of calming the situation at various junctions where, without his input, I think a settlement might have become impossible due to the anger of everyone else involved, including the other lawyer! Another real plus is that he is very easy to get in touch with. I have heard nightmarish stories from friends who hired other lawyers, who were not responsive to their calls. Mr. Benedetto was very responsive and available. He really made me feel as if my case was special. I'm sure he makes every client feel this way, and I highly recommend him as a great lawyer, ethical person and just an all around good man.

In my opinion... DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! I think they have zero concern for anything except cashing…read moreyour check! I would find anyone else!!! I feel they are possibly the worst firm I have ever dealt with. All of the members I dealt with seemed overwhelmed with possibly taking on too many clients... which made them (in my opinion) simply fall into a reactive state and not proactively attempt to help my case! It felt like they didn't want to create a strategy, had no concern, no movement forward... NOTHING! My primary lawyer actually called my (twice) on the morning of emergency hearings to strategize the hearing. Literally minutes before entering the court... they felt that was the best time to rush you through trying to have a solid understanding of your position. I FELT THEY NEVER PREPARED FOR ONE HEARING!!!! I paid them $40,000 dollars to settle only one aspect of a divorce. They spent a year depleting the retainer... simply reacting to the other lawyer's action. Not once did they set up a meeting to discuss the potential offer or what my goals were. They rarely responded to or addressed my emails or return my calls. Pathetic. They seem to be way more concerned with accumulating hours... possibly in an attempt to make partner? The hours they accumulated didn't seem to help move my case closer to settlement. I feel they are not a divorce firm to use... and I'm sure you could throw a rock into a bunch of lawyers and find someone more concerned and able to help your case. $40,000 later... they dropped me because I was 4 days late on paying a $2,000 invoice. That's right... 4 days! Keep in mind that visitation was already resolved before approaching this firm. They only needed to provide my soon to be Ex with an offer for alimony and child support. After a year of depleting the retainer... they never once put together even one offer to my Ex. Not one! Less than one year of them doing NOTHING and incurring $40,000... for just my side of this divorce. I feel they have ZERO compassion for their clients and have no sympathy for what married couples are going through in the difficult process of Divorce. Not sure why... but, it felt like THEY WOULDN'T RESPOND TO EMAILS OR CALL ME BACK... EVER I'd say to Skip this firm... at all costs! I feel they are simply one of the worst on the planet... Find anyone else! I believe you could represent yourself and get further along then simply giving them hours as they all work towards partnership. I think they are a pathetic bunch of losers... and they do not deserve to represent anyone! Too bad the court system couldn't find a way to weed out the pathetic lawyers (and firms) and put them out of business. I feel these guys give the 1% of good lawyers a bad name... PS - I'm assuming that any of the positive reviews for this firm are made up or provided by a family member of the firm's employees. PPS - Today I appeared in court to hear their motion to be removed from the case... and my lawyer actually pulled me into the hallway, referenced this review, and threatened to take me to court for defamation of character if I didn't remove. LOL! Your bullying tactics won't work on me!

Abandoned in Open Court - Beware of Brad Erdman…read more Review: If you are looking for an attorney to protect your family and your assets, look elsewhere. I retained Bradley Erdman at Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC (MKFM Law) for a child custody and financial enforcement case. On March 4, 2026, during an active custody status hearing, I asked him a few standard, clarifying questions about the court process and our strategy for enforcing a major financial judgment. Instead of answering me, Brad became completely dismissive and abruptly withdrew as my attorney right there in open court. He left me completely unrepresented in front of the judge during a critical moment in my custody case. A family law attorney is supposed to be your advocate during highly stressful times. Brad Erdman proved that if you ask questions or expect clear communication, he will cut and run, leaving you entirely exposed.
