This shop recently opened in Columbia and it is next door to, Pasta La Fata and around the corner…read morefrom Ozark Mountain Biscuit & Bar. When in Columbia, I suggest you visit all three. PP is the perfect little boutique to visit when you are planning your next special event/party. You'll not only find unique decorations, but you'll also find great gift ideas. The day I shopped, I found great greeting cards, which I love to send snail mail and a fun trivia game. The card game was, Food & Drink Trivia. A perfect game for a foodie. I wish I would have bought two and added the second one to my gift drawer. It would make a perfect gift for one of my foodie friends. I'll be honest, the customer service was a little off. The young lady working stayed behind the counter and really did not interact with us until one of dropped something and when I went to check-out. If she came out from behind the counter and interacted with us, she could have made additional sales. I also find it weird that their phone number is not on the business card and not posted on their website. I'm old school and sometimes, you just want to talk to a real person instead of doing e-mail.

I also cannot get over how the entire store is organized by color- my heart seriously grew an inch. Overall this place is a gem of a local business, and I will support them any chance I get!

If you are even thinking about hiring a wedding coordinator, stop looking and book Desiree and her…read moreteam immediately. She was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was organized, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive to every detail. She made my mom, husband and I all feel heard and took every idea we all had and was able to combine them to create something we all loved. But what really set her apart was how much she genuinely cared about making our day feel special and seamless. She handled things before we even knew they needed to be handled, kept everything running smoothly, and somehow made the entire day feel calm and joyful instead of stressful. Because of her, my husband and I were able to fully enjoy every moment of our wedding day. We didn't have to worry about timelines, vendors, or logistics--she had everything completely under control. She anticipated needs, solved problems instantly, and made sure every detail came together perfectly. She also brought such a warm, positive energy that made the whole experience even better. Our family and wedding party all commented on how amazing she was and how smoothly everything ran. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and she played such a huge role in making it that way. We are so grateful for everything she did and could not recommend her more highly.

Heritage Ranch was selected by the bride and groom of the wedding we attended and I have to say…read morethat this place is stunning, family run and with lots of space their wedding was one of the most memorable ones I have attended. Simply know by locals in Sedalia as "The Barn" Heritage Ranch is indeed a barn, a barn constructed to look older than it is with a mix of recycled and new materials. In addition there are two. . .huts? One for the groom's wedding party and one for the brides. . .be warned. . .these are the only two areas with air conditioning and if you are going to have a wedding in anything other than winter that barn gets toasty. . .not toasty enough for me to dock a star but tosty enough for me to say that the family that ownes it might need to look into better cooling options than the random massive fans that were everywhere. . .pordable AC units are a thing. . . LADIES! The parking for the venu is a rock field, as in the roadway is made of loose rocks, bring flats or boots and switch to heels when you get to the barn. No really Don't try to do the lot in heels. Behind the barn sits a small play area for children that we found quite functional. Remember to READ what you are signing up for though because there is a lot of clean ups you will be responsible for, you turn everything back over the way you got it. Loved it, loved Sedalia A very good venue option for sure.

I'm being forced to do something I would not normally do. Moreland Riedle and I flew here to view…read morethe wedding venue that she put a deposit on. With moreland working the Covid unit at work and finishing school, and Blake having knee surgery, neither were able to come up before now to start making plans. Let me just say, I am very disappointed that the woman won't give the deposit back from Bonita Valley Dance Barn and wedding Venue. The pictures on Facebook make it look spectacular, but in person it is a dump. I get you are in the country and it's a barn, but who knew we were going to have to drive past a makeshift mobile home trailer with what looked like a junk yard parked outside, with campers, tractors, chicken coops, all around. The barn itself was covered in cobwebs (although they said there was a wedding there last weekend) yeah, right! And the chairs and media equipment had inches of thick dust. The netting draped through the rafters looked yellow as if they hadn't been changed in years and they were infested with bug carcasses. The light bulbs were scantily present and as you walk in there is a trap on the ground. The owner said it was for a "skunk " that was loose in the barn. Gross!!! Along with the skunk, there were rabbits running around loose in the barn. The smell was indicative of something either living in there or had died in there. The kitchen was a joke. If a caterer came in there they would run the other way. There was no oven and a refrigerator not big enough to hold a gallon of sweet tea. Walk outside and the grass is knee high and around the wooden cross were wooden pews that were rotten, gray and dilapidated. The furniture in the "bride's" dressing area was a couch dated back to the 60's and the fabric was so dirty, I was afraid to touch it. The tables to serve on were pallets nailed to four wooden posts. They were uneven and rough. I could go on and on, but I don't want to seem like a bride momzilla . I just want people to be kind and give this young couple their money back. Oh yes, and she said to make sure that I added that the cost was $710 for a 2-day venue...Thursday and Friday... well, Now we all know why...we were paying for SHIT and shit is cheap! I would be embarrassed to have family and friends come to this place!
