However, they aren't very friendly and sometimes I feel like they don't especially like having customers in the store. I also bought some tteokbokki from the refrigerated section that I discovered were covered in mold when I got them home. They told me I could not get a refund, which was disappointing. I don't buy anything "perishable" from this store anymore for that reason. And I try not to take the stand-offishness of the folks who work there personally. They really do have a good selection of products. The parking lot is awful, and if there are more than four or five cars parked there, it can be really tough to maneuver in and out of the parking spots.

So I decided to see what my local Indian stores have items I need. Indian Grocery was easy to find right off the interstate, great parking. The store was not overcrowded, grocery carts at the entry way. All the staff was really helpful. I had a list of spices and hair items needed for some DIYs for my myself. They do have quite a bit of produce that is more fresher than the local grocery stores. What I really liked its that it was only a few people in the store. So I had plenty of time to look and not have folks walking all over me. I did see some clothing items, jewelry, dishes, and a host of other items. Check was super easy, they take all forms of payments. I bought soap, toothpaste & henna at this one. I will be using them for future purchases for sure.

I was happy spices of India wasn't too far from my general location and let me tell you this was such a hidden gem. They had everything I needed and then some. I left with spices, a couple of different naan, some mango lassi and a few more impulse buys. My buttered chicken turned out amazing and the naan and mango lassi from here were the cherry on top the kids all loved it! In the future I will be back to check out what else they have. The store wasn't the biggest but it was crammed with everything you'd ever need and more.

This an old run down store that sells typical toxic food, (a lot which was expired), very poor quality produce and terrible customer service. It's not even clean but requests all its guests to wear masks. Everything is absurdly overpriced; there isn't even a vegetarian section in the freezer. There is, however, a very small section of local craft beers in the freezer. I received more assistance from a customer than the staff. There was someone who was off chatting with a cashier. The cashier just laughed as the person began her verbal assault on a customer referring to her in many different vulgar ways which is unacceptable for a human being. My cashier, on the other hand, kept her back turned to me until she finished her text message, didn't greet me, didn't speak at all and threw the receipt at me after I said I didn't need one. I do not recommend and do not see myself coming back unless it's for Steel Hands ($8.99/6 pack).

Aldi is one of those stores that will have your buggy filled when your list only calls for 6 items:) Yes, I had a small list for a recipe and ended up with 44 items!! Insane right?! That goes to say, there are some many great deals, with an amazing range of different items such as fresh produce, meats, unique finds and even household items. Really great place to shop without breaking the bank! I definitely recommend them for your shopping needs. They also have the best prices, even cheaper than Walmart. The service is good and lines are usually short, except during holidays. However, they have self checkouts as well to keep the lines moving. If you haven't been to Aldi's you should go. Don't forget to bring a quarter though. You will need one to get a shopping cart. When you bring the cart back, you'll get your quarter back.
