I think we spent about $50 on maybe eight or so items. They had green seasoning which was a huge hit for my husband and lasco , which he is at this point finished and we need to go back and get some more. The service was nice, they answered questions, they also let us know if there was anything we did not see that we wanted they could make sure to grab it on their next trip to stock up. Just walking in the store made me feel like we were back in the islands and I loved it.

Review- this store is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and the prices are average. The meat looked fresh. They sell fresh corn tortillas and corn chips. I did not see the price of the corn tortillas but the fresh tortilla chips were $6 so i will just make my own and will not be trying these. I did not see any fresh salsa or guacamole, nor do they have a deli. They do sell fresh chicharrones. They sell fresh juices. The store has a small selection. They did not have fresh flour tortillas, but they do sell Guerrero Caseras, which are specifically the flour tortillas i was hoping to find and have not found at any other stores in the area. If you are hoping to find a supermercado similar to ones on the west coast, this is not one, however this one had the best produce and tortilla selection i have found in this area so far.

For us, we come here for the small Jamaican section of canned goods, Tropical Rhythm drinks, scotch bonnet peppers, goat & oxtail meat, saltfish, and green bananas. I can agree with the majority of comments that prices have increased overall, but not sure if it is this market or the price of living in general. For non Hispanic speaking customers it is difficult to communicate with staff as they all speak very little English some none at all. If we find market closer to our home we would drop this place all together but for now we continue here.

Now the red curry chicken had just enough spice to balance out the dish to taste perfect. This week I had African goat curry with a red curry sauce that is mild served over white basmati rice. Each dish will run about 10.00 dollars and that is a great bargain for the amount of food you get and the quality of the African or Caribbean dishes.
