I'm extremely disappointed with my experience and would not recommend…read more I initially came in for lip blushing and had high expectations after doing thorough research on the process. I fully understood that the initial color would be bold and then fade/peel into a more natural result. However, after my first session, there was barely any pigment deposited at all and it was uneven. my lips didn't peel, which is typically part of the healing process, attached picture of initial session. I communicated my concerns and returned for a second session within the 7 days for a free touch up hoping to build more color. Unfortunately, the experience during the second appointment felt very rushed. I did not feel like I had the time or space to properly discuss adjustments (such as going darker or doing another pass), as I was quickly moved out due to another appointment. There is also concern about how sanitary the process was. Seems like that went out the door. She didnt map my lips, and frequently went on her phone with the same gloves she was tattooing me with. Now, after spending hundreds of dollars, there is still no visible difference in my lips. I reached out on 4/3 to follow up on my results and did not receive a response. I sent a follow-up message on 4/8, again with no reply. When I finally heard back, I was told she was on vacation "until next Thursday," which would have been 4/16. It is now 4/24, and I still have not received any meaningful follow-up or resolution, and likely will never hear back from her again, thus this review and needing others to know what kind of business owner she is. This lack of communication has been extremely frustrating and feels unprofessional--especially considering I was reaching out about concerns with the service. It's hard not to feel like messages are prioritized differently when it comes to booking new clients versus addressing issues. I did purchase a Groupon for the tint and I wonder if it has anything to do with that or if she treats all concerned customers the same. I can't tell which is worse. Additionally, I felt that accountability was lacking. My concerns were repeatedly attributed to me being "scared of color," which is not accurate. I relied on the provider's professional expertise to guide pigment selection and clearly set expectations. As a client, I should not have to guess whether the outcome will be visible after multiple sessions and additional costs. She also gives conflicting information about the healing process. I was then told that I would need to pay an additional $200 for another touch-up to achieve a noticeable result. At this point, I'm not comfortable continuing to invest more money (and pain!!) without having seen even a baseline level of results from the initial services. Overall, this experience has been frustrating from both a results and customer service standpoint. I would strongly recommend doing thorough research and look elsewhere for services. There are plenty of other PMU that offer deals for lip blushing etc. that have more reviews that you can rely on.

When I moved back to San Diego from Los Angeles this past year, it was a no brainer that I would seek her services. I was spending an arm and a leg at the skin care studio I was going to previously. Natalie's prices are reasonable and super fair. When you book a service, she is the esthetician in charge of your skin care; not a staff member. The boss herself! That adds a lot of value. I have booked facials, including the HydraFacial, and dermaplaning. I love dermaplaning because my skin care products seep deeper into my skin delivering better effects. I am looking forward to starting peels this fall and feel confident that Natalie knows the strength/type of peel that will best suit my skin. Natalie is patient, detail-oriented (which is HUGE), and makes you feel relaxed during your treatment. I especially love her deep knowledge of skin, skin care products, and after care.
