We had a disastrous experience with Art and Soul Dance over the last year…read more Coming from a great studio to Art and Soul, we had the following observations. The owners are not open to feedback. If you provide feedback, your child is likely to be cut from dances or have their role limited. The owners of this studio focus more on emotionally traumatizing their dancers than teaching them skills. It was not uncommon for dances to change at the last second before competitions leading dancers to be unsure and nervous going onstage. Calling out dancers in front of their peers to do better was also not uncommon. The owners will tell you whatever you want to hear to sign up including what classes they offer. This will change once the season starts. Teacher turnover is high here. The one teacher we felt was strong, the ballet teacher, has moved on. We have had to ask the studio multiple times for pins earned and judge feedback from competitions. They refused to provide them. We question the accounting at this studio. All payments are made out personally to the owner. This seems odd for a business and we were never quite sure of the accounting. If you are looking for a studio that builds up your child's confidence and love of dance, this is not it. If you are looking for a studio where the owners are approachable and open to feedback, this is not it. If you are looking for a studio that is chaotic, mismanaged and where your child comes home questioning if they want to dance anymore, this is probably the studio for you. I would caution anyone looking to put their child in dance at Art and Soul to do lots of research and look past the positive reviews that will be fabricated to bury this one.

I had my daughter enrolled at Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics for over a year, attending twice a week and…read morepaying $177/month. Unfortunately, in all that time, she barely progressed. Every class seemed to have new beginners, but no one was really paying attention to whether long-time students were improving. I tried to address this with the front desk and was told someone would call me. After sending an email, I finally got a callback from the director, who asked if my daughter's skills book was up to date. The problem is that most of the time there were substitutes, and substitutes aren't allowed to sign off on skills. So even though she had mastered certain skills, she was missing a signature. The director promised to have the teacher check her and follow up. My daughter was so excited, but when we came back, nothing happened. We even added sticky notes to her book to make it clear, but no teacher looked at it or talked to us. After all that time and money, it felt like no one cared about her progress. As a parent, I feel this gym is more focused on filling classes and collecting tuition than actually helping kids grow. Once we switched to a new gym, after just one class my daughter was placed in Beginner Level 3 -- exactly where she should have been all along. Don't waste your time or money here

He's an incredible instructor--patient, upbeat, and great at breaking down the steps so everyone feels confident. His dance techniques and teaching style make it easy to improve quickly, even if you're new to bachata. The energy in the room was amazing, and I left smiling (and sweating!). Highly recommend taking his class if you want to learn real technique while having an awesome time!

Started hitting the gym recently because the belly fat keeps getting bigger. So it's time to get my…read morefitness on. My routine is M-F from 9-10, unless I take the Zumba class on Wednesday's. I'm there for 2 hours. MWF, are busy days. It's a fight for machines, racks/free weight section, it's a zoo. TTH are better days. This is when I take my sweet time doing glutes and working on my compound movements/form. Lots of treadmills and elliptical machines. I like to row for warm ups and sadly there is only 1 machine in the cardio area. The 2 machines that are in the hit section are always occupied or pushed next to the wall by people doing mat exercises. Staff are friendly, water fountain could have colder water. Lots of parking, just get so packed early.
