Ivette did a wonderful job for my daughter's prom…read more I booked her for my wedding and she had set up her arrival at my house at 6:45AM because I have to be at the wedding venue by 9AM - wedding is at 10AM. Unfortunately, I had to wake her up that day. She arrived around past 7:30AM vs the expected 6:45AM. To me, it was fine, as long as I can be done by 8:30AM to make it at the venue by 9AM. I repeatedly asked if she would be able to finish at that time and I was assured yes, she can. She finished with me at 9AM. I arrived at the venue at 9:30AM. I had missed half an hour of photos with my photographer. A lot of details were not photographed - my hard work and expenses for the ring, gown were put to waste because they weren't photographed since I was 30 mins late. I was photographed while actually getting dressed because that was the only chance the photographer can take a photo of me. Ladies, if you had a wedding, I guess you could imagine how limited a 20 min photo shoot is. I just felt like crying. It felt like it has ruined my wedding day because that was the start. Ivette took my payment without even offering any compensation for her being late. If it was a party that I was going to, I wouldn't mind being late. The sad part is that it was my wedding. Just very unfortunate to happen to anyone.

I was a little nervous at first, but the process was super easy. The hair didn't tangle, the bonds stayed secure, and everything dried beautifully. It still looks so natural and blends perfectly with my hair you really can't tell I have extensions in.

I have always been very cautious of any permanent make up procedures done on my face call me more…read morenervous. If you've never been tattooed before, the process can feel a little scary. After all, having a stranger with a tattoo gun near your eyeballs isn't exactly comfortable. (Was I going to end up looking like Post Malone?) But after chatting for a while with Jeanni and having her explain the process and making sure I was comfortable we went for it. Jeanni was very meticulous in mapping out my brows making sure that everything was as symmetric as possible and that shape was suitable. Next, Jeanni applied a numbing cream that helped with the slight sting as she got to work. It did begin to wear off during the procedure, but the pain was bearable. While the full process--including mapping, waiting for the numbing to kick in and the actual tattooing--took three hours, it really didn't feel that long. Though I couldn't talk (and had my eyes closed) through most of the tattooing, Jeanni kept me entertained by sharing her own brow story, and kept me up-to-date on my brow's progress the entire time. I left that day with a little take home aftercare kit, very defined brows and a bit of redness that was gone by the next morning. I made sure, per Jeanni's instructions, to sleep on my back, so as not to disturb the tattoo or remove the scabbing as it healed. This is super important, because the colour is not fully vested until the wound is healed--disturbing it by scratching, harsh washing or applying pressure can remove colour in those critical first two weeks.

It has taken me a while to write this review because I wanted to be fair…read more My coworkers gave me a gift certificate for a head spa because they knew I could really use some relaxation. My original appointment was on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., but I received a call that morning letting me know the head spa specialist was sick and they needed to reschedule. I completely understood--people get sick. They rescheduled me for Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and even offered an extra massage for being so understanding, which I appreciated. On Sunday, I arrived a few minutes before my appointment. There were two stylists working with clients, and I stood there for a few minutes before someone acknowledged me. After I said I was there for a head spa appointment, I was asked to have a seat for a few minutes. About 15 minutes later, the stylist called me over to her station, performed the included scalp analysis, and then explained that she had gotten behind and needed to finish with her two existing clients. She was very pleasant and engaging, so I didn't mind waiting at first. Unfortunately, "a few minutes" turned into an hour and a half. My 2:00 p.m. appointment didn't actually begin until around 3:30 p.m. Even after I was taken back to the head spa room, I waited another 10-15 minutes before the stylist came in. Since this was my first head spa experience, I didn't know exactly what to expect beyond the videos I'd seen online. To her credit, I believe she completed all of the advertised steps, and she did provide a very nice, extended massage. The treatment itself was enjoyable. The experience fell apart afterward. The package included a blowout, but my hair was simply dried with fingers run through it, with a brush used only briefly. I left with frizzy, poofy hair and ended up having to rewash and style it myself when I got home. I finally left at 5:30 p.m.--three and a half hours after arriving for what should have been a much shorter appointment. The biggest disappointment wasn't the treatment itself; it was the complete lack of respect for my time. I had told my husband I'd be home in about an hour so we could spend the afternoon with our son. Instead, I spent most of my Sunday waiting. I went in hoping for a relaxing experience and left feeling stressed and rushed. I understand that schedules sometimes get off track, and I genuinely appreciated that they accommodated me after having to cancel my first appointment. However, once it became clear they were running this far behind, I wish someone had offered me the option to reschedule again or at least been honest about the delay. I could have made an informed decision instead of spending hours waiting. Based on my experience, I can't say I would return.
