I went to 3 other chiropractors that would have me come into their office every week to be adjusted for YEARS without lasting results. When insurance ran out after 5 annual sessions, I was paying out of pocket for YEARS. Dr. Lauren Zolnowsky is SO different! Her aims to FIX the person's body mechanics so you are HEALED! WHAT?! I know, right?! *shock face* Her experience is over the top extensive and she fixed my back pain in the FIRST session! My sacral (butt bone) was twisted plus out of alignment and she repositioned it. My fibula (leg bone) was OFF my ankle causing a 1/2 inch hip tilt, knee and leg pain. Dr. Z put my leg bone onto my ankle bone. This straightened out my hips and knees! Bam! Back, hip, knee and leg pain gone! WHAT?! I know, right?! *continued shock face* Then she did Low Level Laser on my head and neck which calmed my OCD, type A brain like a vacation. The next 2 appointments, I had Dr. Z adjust every joint including my collarbones and I feel 30 years younger! She broke up leg scar tissue from a skiing accident I had 30 years ago. I no longer need to see her. *blink, blink, disbelief* 3 sessions and done and I can move with ease! Hallelujah! I gladly paid without insurance! I was so thrilled that I made my husband go to Dr. Z with his SEVERE 30 year old feet and shin pain. He tried my other chiropractors, foot surgery, shoe inserts, etc. with no relief. Dr. Z adjusted his feet and broke up the stuck scar tissue that was limiting his shin and feet movement. He saw Dr. Z a few days ago and still has full relief and is walking well. How simple was that?! God honest truth! My horseback riding niece is so impressed with our results, she is making appointments for her boyfriend and herself. The initial consultation costs more than regular visits, but she spends a lot of time trying to figure out what is going on with your body and trying to figure out how she can help.

He's very flexible when an immediate need arises, and his rates are very reasonable. There is also a program available for paients whose insurance has a cap on chiro visits or who have no coverage at all. Wait time for 95% of visits is very reasonable....but after all, there are emergencies, and I've been one of them on occasion, so the 5% is no problem...! The receptionist is very pleasant to deal with (actually, she's Dr. Gold's wife) and billing and insurance matters are always handled well. In short, unless it changes, I'm a lifer...(or until he retires, whichever comes first) :)

In 2012 I underwent the gastric sleeve surgery.  Prior to the surgery my digestive system was like clockwork.  As soon as I had surgery, it came to a screeching halt. For 13 years I have suffered with severe constipation, GERD, vomiting because when I ate, I was so backed up there was nowhere for the food to go.  I lived on Tums and laxatives allllllll these years.  I had to dedicate a day to trying to go so I could enjoy the weekend with my family.   I was hospitalized three times.  You name it.  It ruled me and my health. Dr. DeMers is great and I'd give her 5-stars. She's nice, very thorough, compassionate, follows up by phone/email, and is reliable. You don't feel rushed as she spends a lot of time with you, and asks a lot of questions. I stopped going solely based on my experiences with the front desk staff. They seem very unorganized. The last straw was an unpleasant conversation with one of them. I should preface by saying that if you have a (high) deductible, be prepared for an email and phone call every single week asking for payment. These begin the very next day after your appointment! It takes a week or two to receive an Explanation of Benefits from your insurance, and according to the paperwork you sign at Thrive, you have 30 days to pay. It really started to rub me the wrong way because 1) I have a fear of doctors, so seeing them call/email so often caused unnecessary worry; and 2) I had never not paid in full by the 30 day mark. When I explained this, she initially said Dr. DeMers insists on it and she doesn't like doing it because it's uncomfortable. Then she became passive-aggressive and kept sarcastically apologizing. I never heard another word from their office or Dr. DeMers again even though I was supposed to have a follow-up appointment three months later! Here are just a few examples of the front desk's disorganization: 1. Called to schedule an initial consultation only to be called back the next day saying that they no longer offer consultations. 2. Provided my health insurance info./card at my first appointment. They asked for it again at my second appointment the following month saying they didn't have it, yet I was billed. 3. I accidentally overpaid on one of my bills. She said they'd deduct from my next appointment's bill which they didn't. I had to remind them after they invoiced me.
