To quote Wikipedia "alcohol laws of Missouri are among the most permissive in the United States. Missouri is known throughout the Midwest for its largely laissez-faire approach to alcohol regulation". Strange neighbors, but a welcome sight. Even better, this isn't some desperation depot of overpriced county line hooch. They carry a wide range of craft beers, high quality wines, Scotch, and top shelf liquors. Apparently they contract with distilleries to offer some award-winning seasonal private label bourbon. Employees are very friendly, helpful and know their stuff in every department.
