The store didn't have a particular brand of wine that was the object of a hunt, but the guy suggested Publix, and he was right on. The liquor prices are higher than what you'd find at the ABC Store, but you can leave knowing you've supported a local business which is always a warm feeling. Situated in the middle of nowhere, but immediately off the exit, Lafayette Beverage is an extensive warehouse with solid selection of bottles ranging from wine to liquor to beer. Prices are on average 5-10% below fair market value. The wines purchased here were of good quality and were clearly handled properly in terms of temperatures before reaching the store. Oh and they even have some solid cigars. As this place appears to be more catering to passers by on the interstate, there is a very clean restroom as well. Thus, Lafayette Beverage gets all the thumps up as a stop over liquor and wine warehouse.
